Is it Willow on the cover? Oh opps, I just saw the big version and it's Dawn 😛
I wonder who Buffy kissed to be woken up... anyone else think it's probably Xander?
And who's been waiting for a long time to get revenge on Willow who's male? Maybe Rack from season 6, or Warren? But I thought they were definately dead.. : erm :

Also, I tried to order the variant cover of the first issue, but it seems like I can't change the delivery date unless I change all the delivery dates of my other pre-orders. I don't want to spend $75 for fast international shipping for the variant cover, but if I change it to the 30 days cheap option, it switches all of them to that. Has anyone else figured this out? I guess I'll send them an email.

I found issue one for download on the internet so I just finished reading it. It had a nice set up for this story arc and I loved Xanders references to Nick Fury. Over all I would give this issue an A- would have been a n A+ if there had been a little more action. I understand the lack of action though due to Joss setting up the plot.

OKay, I just saw a scan of the last page, where it is revealed that Amy is back.

Is it just me, or does that picture look a lot more like Amy's mom then Amy?

Is it possible that it is Amy's mom, and she's just using Amy's identity? She's done it before.

Her face did seem a little wider, rounder than Amy's - but she definitely had Amy's wide open, crazed eyes, lol.

Gah, I think I'm gonna have to get two copies of every issue...I like these variant covers too...

did anybody see the latest issue of the Buffy/Angel mag? there's an interview with Joss about S8, and he talks about the next four issue story arc...which is gonna center on Faith.

I'm starting the first arc with a Buffy story. But the next four will be a Faith story by Brian K. Vaughn. It's gonna take a completely different tack, and that's how I want the thing to work from the start.

Yeah, that would be cool - if Joss had creative oversight at least. Would Joss actually write some of it? Wonder how Lynch's writing is...
 
Really can't wait for Brian's Faith arc, gah... Hopefully it'll be awesome since he's awesome and she's awesome and to me that sounds like quite a lot of awesomeness, mhm..

Yeah I was waiting for some Angel Season 6 info because it's been hinted at for so long. Already knew about the Faith arc, it will be ..awesome 😛
 
Good idea that it could be Amy's mom instead, guys. If you think about it, her crazy ass was so obsessed she switched places with her daughter. She probably had some serious head problems going on upstairs. Maybe that magical light thingy somehow went up into the school and into the trophy case (if it has survived the blast in season 3) n somehow let Amy's mom out of the trophy?

Both first and second issues are out of print in amazon.com. Does anyone know how many issues there will be?

Oh that looks sweet! I wasn't going to look.. then I was only going to look at one page, and then I was just reading the whole 4 pages 😛
