Yeah, not happening. But I like to think it COULD have, and I also think it SHOULD have. Particularly around the mid-S1 point for Smallville/mid-S6 for Buffy. At that point, both Buffy and Clark were feeling particularly alone in their lives and chosen paths, and the two crossing paths would have given both a welcome encounter with a kindred spirit. Plus, the game of human chess between Spike and Lex would have been aces. 😀 The only downside to this crossover I see would've been the need to ignore Xander's various Superman references throughout the show's history. Any thoughts?
