Is there anyone else here who, despite everything, Still thinks Spike and Buffy should TOTALLY hit it off? I myself have been like this for a while, I think since the beginning of the 5th season when Spike developed his little 'obsession' with Buffy. It was kinda a weird thought at first, but now it's gotten cute, especially after Buffy came back in the beginning of the 6th season. Anyone else agree?

In the end, Buff and Angel need to get back together and be happy, But we still have AT LEAST one more season, and Spike needs a little bit of happiness too! So my opinion is BUFFY AND SPIKE!!!!!!!

That's a good way of thinking about it, Buffy*n*Spike. In the end, I want Buffy and Angel to get back together. But, hell, for right now...Buffy and Spike better steam up the screen. However, I will always be a major Buffy/Angel shipper.

I think Angel and Buffy were perfect for eachother, and they're the best alltime couple in BTVS history, next to Willow and Oz, who had virtually no problems until the end of Oz's time on the show.
Buffy and Spike should get together for a bit!!!
 
Nooo way man...it has to be buffy and spike...i really didnt like buffy and angel all that much...i mean sure in the end theyll probably get together and live happily ever after but i really want spike and buffy to live happily ever after.....hmm....:😛outs:: lifes not fair!!!!lol
 
Yeah, life's definitely not fair when it comes to TV. I think I like Buffy/Angel together because it was "true love"; sorta like a soulmate dealio. I mean, when do you ever get to see that in real life? It gives you some sort of hope, while Spike/Buffy is just lust. But it looks like it may become more than that, which is nice to see. So as long as Buffy is happy, I'm happy too.😉

All I ever saw to Buffy and Spike was lust. I know that Spike has developed as a character (personally, I'm still waiting for him to be the Big Bad again, but I've given up that hope).. he's always been sort of in the middle, neither good nor bad, but I don't view Buffy and Spike getting any deeper. Are they even deep to begin with? :: shrug :: Just me and my B/A 'shipper-ness, I suppose.
 
Exactly, AngelsSoul. Buffy was just using Spike. And after what he did to her before he left, if he comes back, he's not exactly going to be welcomed back with open arms. Especially now that Buffy wants to live and to be there with Dawn. Besides Xander's probally going to stake him the next time he sees him. *g*

Besides, remember how Spike tried to rape Buffy? How could you do that to someone you really love?! You couldn't. AngelsSoul is right; it's lust, not love.

But he has a soul, so he can truly love her now. He's probably going to feel like sh*t for trying to do that. Excuse my language. 😱
 
It doesn't matter. No self-respecting woman would get back with a man (or demon) that tried to do something so violating. It would completely ruin her character as a strong, independent, woman. Which is the image the show is trying to promote.

If you want to hear the rest of my rant go to my post in the Buffy season 7 pre-discussion board under the thread about which relationship is the best posted by Jasmine. I made some really good points and it completely supports what I'm saying here.
 
Oh, I've read it already.😀 If I remember correctly, Angel tried to kill Buffy - plus all her friends, succeeding in some cases - and she still wanted to get back together with him. Why? Because he got his soul back. Though some might think rape is worse than murder...I think it measures up.
