Buffy Spinoff (virtual)

I have been wanting to do this for some time but just havnt got completely around to it...

I want to do a buffy virtual spinoff.. (for a very good example go to watcherscouncil.net) This one would be called Chosen and would take place a little over four years after it left off.... I havnt decided on characters yet, but maybe you could help with that

To do this i will need help

1.Writers
2.Graphic Designer
3.Someone who could assist in making a kick ass site
4.Anything you could think of

The seasons would consist of the usual 22 episodes that air weekly..

In addition to chosen I am currently working on three other virtual series..

1. Condmention (think, the matrix, constatine, sin city, underworld like concepts all rolled up into one)

2. SAW (a series focusing on the saw franchise)

3. Anytime (also called A.D.D.I.C.T.E.D) (About fallen angels dealing with high school.. please respond....
 
Joss Whedon is doing a Season 8 in comic format. It takes place shortly after Season 7. Perhaps you should wait and find out what the canon will be. It's possible some of your characters may be dead before he's finished.

Could you provide a source for that? I'm interested in learning more about it.
 
the plan for the spioff, is an an alternate world then... because you know that different versions of the world exist.. and since this series will take place in sunnydale.. it is safe to assume that it wont really clash with the comic.. however i may take that into consideration.. if for example, i dont have enough staff soon.. anyone interested...
 
I have a question., since Nancy Holden did the Queen of Slayers book, how is that going to mesh in with the comics, because techincally, she really put a big dent in what would be the beginning of season 8.
 
Nancy Holder has no sway whatsoever on what Joss will, or won't write. Joss is canon. Holder is not. This may sound harsh, but other than small financial perks, her stories mean no more to Joss than anything you'll find in the Fan Fiction section here at Buffy-Boards. He says he doesn't read the books.
 
ok, so are there any takers? If not, how about after the comics are released?

ok.. here is the plot...

The slayers across the world, along with a newly chaotic watchers council are trying to seal up and, effectively destroy all the hellmouths that are found throughout the world.. they save Cleveland for last, knowing that it will be one hell of a battle. The current sunnydale has been masked and is magically enchanced, convicning the world that it still exists, and willow is responsible for it...

Spike and Angel come with a warning to the watchers in Rome, stating that their are forces at work to open back up the sunnydale hellmouth if they do not destroy Clevelands quick...

That force happens to be The First.....(with minor adjustments).... The new first hopes to become more powerful from an amulet that is hidden within clevelands hellmouth..although the slayers and the scoobies arent aware of that...

through the destruction of clevelands hellmouth.. That energy brings Sunnydale back, thus recreating sunnydale, exactly as it was, right before it fell.... With Vampires running amok..and the mouth open.. etc...

Soon everyone will relize their are far more powerful things thatn Evil, when the only apparent way to stop a new evil is to destroy the power of the chosen....
 
OK, there are elements i like of this story.

The Willow/Sunnydale thing
Spike and Angel
The Multiple Hellmouths and the possible connection.

I also like the idea of some Evil Being able to manipulate the Hellmouths however, I would personally keep away from the First Evil to be honest.
I think that 'character' ran its course simply because it was poorly executed in the show.

There are many variations of evil beings and Deities that would be better suited to creating and causing this havoc.
 
i dont know what the deal is with how this would work, but i'd be cool with writing if you find staff and decide to do it. i dont care what story you choose; i just like the writing 🙂. it would be challenging and fun to do.

Also within this series there will be a MALE SLAYER... (yes i know its against cannon) Who will most likely be played by Ryan Carnes.....

I like the idea of a corruption of the chosen is that to do with Buffy and Willow awakening the slayers..? and what of Giles et el not trusting Angel or are you going to ignore that bad plot device..?
 
Yes, that is about Buffy and willow awakening the slayers, and I dont know what plot device you are thinking of? Please help me remember....

I am now getting desperate for help.... all kinds of it....

I will post the first teaser in a few days...
 
I was just asking because they didn't trust him you are going to have em help so i was asking if you were disragarding it ok..?
Well that's all i was saying, and please continue with your idea!
 
that Giles and Buffy didnt trust him...

Angel and Spike are now just going to be supporting, they will probably leave within the first 6 episodes.... Making few guest appearences throughout the year,I even thought about having them killed off... But I dont know...
