Anthony Stewart Head, who plays Giles on UPN's Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has enlisted several Buffy colleagues--including series creator Joss Whedon--on his upcoming CD, Music for Elevators, created with composer George Sarah, the AllPop.com Web site reported. Head provides vocals for the CD, which electronic musician Sarah produced. Head also wrote the lyrics.

Head is joined on some tracks by Buffy co-stars James Marsters (Spike), Amber Benson (Tara) and Alyson Hannigan (Willow). Whedon, who composed the music for this season's musical Buffy episode, also wrote a song on Head's CD.

I heard about this a while back, thats the first time I've seen the cover of it though. Seems weird that three people from buffy are also on it, makes it seem a bit soundtracky. It would be interesting to hear the songs though.

It's actually quite inspiring how the cast of a show can all huddle together and create such an immense third-party product, that... well i've nothing but the utmost respect for Navarre who have honourably labelled the album. It undoubtedly was a project created out of personal interest, so *cue standing ovation* all the more power to Head and Sarah in the future. No matter how different my preference on music is, i'm sure i'll find something on there that'll satisfy my brainfood, musical accord. Be sure to check this out next week. 🙂

God knows but that's not the point... Amber Benson is on there lol... lets just hope she follows ASH's suit and records a CD of her own... Ahhhhhhhh Amber... *sighs*

"Music for Elevators", that is an interesting title!

I hope he has more success than that musak we hear in the elevators though 😉

lol I'd think that the music would be better then the stuff you here in elevators😉 If it wasn't then it'd be bad.

Pretty cool if I do say so myself. Maybe I will order it... God I need some money. The title is a little crazy though let's just hope it doesnt sound like Elevator Music... good god that would not be good. 😉

Having looked around, i know there's a few of the cd's available on EBay, although the one i was looking at looks set to close (so look around again!) and if you have Morpheus installed: www.download.com (Search, download and install it if you want it), you can get all the tracks except "End Game" featuring Alyson which is a hidden track on the album from there. 🙁

I mean i don't know why it being a hidden track matters as it's already on the cd and especially as it's the one with Alyson's voice on it. (Damn!!!) Apparently she has little to sing though, "Look at the beetle on its back" is her line from what i'm told!? Right... ok? ::huh:: 😛

*coughles* Downloading tracks from the web, whatever happened to supporting our friends on the show... I mean if he sells quite well won't there be a follow up? hmmm hmmmm?

And as fer AH on the album... you'll find out on Thursday why she may only have one line 😀 *wink wink nudge nudge*

Now, now McDuck... i was only rationalising the notion to which in fact *you* brought forward. 4-8 weeks is a long time for anyone's curiosity, don't you think? (Be sure to pick me up a copy if your gonna fly over there though. 😛)

As for downloading music via the web, my CD collection alone spans well over the 300 mark of fully labelled albums (that's not counting the albums i've bought for the re-mastered, re-released and limited editions versions, aswell as a further 200 or so LP's and Tapes), so you decide whether i'm bothered about supporting bands or not? Hell, doing so is one of my main functions on this earth! I know you meant nothing personal by it, but a few choice words in that respect might help my understanding out a little. 🙂

Now as for Alyson this Thursday, i think 4 days is more than adequate for my inquisitiveness. 😉
