Buffy Anne Summers

Played by Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Just like every 6 year old girl I liked Barbie dolls. But I was a big TV addict also. 10 years ago, when I was watching this channel called New TV, I saw promo for our beloved show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I saw this beautiful girl with long blonde hair, and I came to the conclusion that I have to watch that show. Soon, Buffy becamed my hero. I wanted to be her. I loved everything about her. I started to act like her, and sometimes talk like her.

Here you can show your love for Buffy. Tell us, if you love her, why is that? Favourite Buffy moments? Her fashion sense. Buffy's favourite quotes.. and the eternal question, who did Buffy loved more, Angel or Spike, or maybe you are Riley fan. Do you support her actions? Is she a good leader? Is she your favourite character?

Pretty icons. Thanks for posting.
Until seeing this thread about Buffy not getting enough love, it never occurred to me that every man who Buffy has ever loved has wound up leaving her. Her father, Angel, Riley, Spike, even Giles to a degree. The girl just has trouble hanging onto her men. Maybe she needs a puppy.

Day 7. 21 days to go.

Greater love hath no man than that he would give up his Spuffy for a friend.

Great point, WA. Yet, the leaving thing is not strictly reserved for Buffy. Everyone is always leaving each other in the Buffyverse.

One of the main themes for me in the show is the power of friendship. The idea that even though love is often transitory and temporary, friendship is forever, and you can always count on that. The Scoobies are still together. That means something, I guess.

Them leaving doesn't signify the end of their "love" her though. Yeah they all left but more to the point, with the expection of her father (that we know of), they all continue to love her and in some cases return to her.

Life is life. People come and go. It's just what it is. Although I can see how Buffy could develope a complex given the nature of her histroy.
