What do you think the scoobies wrote about Buffy for her bibliography/biography before they buried her after "The Gift"?

Write what you believe they would've written about her, or what you yourself would write. It could be grand & heroic like Andrew's tongue post-S7, or a typical bibliography for a typical girl, which Buffy so wasn't. But, whatever you wish.
 
I'm guessing you dont actually mean bibliography, it would be quite boring, or maybe not i dont know. Surely it would just be a Joss quote book.

Pardon me for my misuse of the words. I was told they were synonymous. Anyway, back to the point, an OBITUARY would've been a nice touch.

As an answer to your question, I've wondered about this too, actually. Given that the Scoobies were trying to keep Buffy's death a secret, I imagine that they would have had a quiet ceremony without obituaries in the paper or any big "to do" about it. But I'd imagine that they all would have said a few words.

If they had a scene like this on-screen, I think Xander would have made a touching speech of some kind about the good times he and Buffy had together, and about the things he admired in her. Willow and Tara may have been a little to distraught to muster anything, and Anya I imagine would have said something simple about her courage or slaying abilities. Giles I think would have tried to say a few words about it but broken down, Buffy was like a daughter to him and he would have been heartbroken over it all (more so even than Xander and Willow) and I think Dawn would have said something about Buffy's last words to her-- tried to stay strong. I was always under the impression that Angel found out about all this after they buried Buffy, but I could be wrong. I couldn't see him doing anything public though: I always pegged him as more the "write her a letter and read it to her grave" type.

That's what I thought anyway, now that I think about it that could make for a nice little fanfic, in a really sad way!

It wasn't that you misused words, it was that when people were questioning it, you seemed to get a little snappy!


ON TOPIC

I don't think they would have said too much.

I imagine Giles made a speech about how she was a hero and Willow and xander each said something separately at her graveside.
