I am not altogether sure if this belongs in this forum. If it doesn't, please move it elsewhere.

I just read about this at another forum I belong to. The member heard it first hand.

NICHOLAS BRENDAN said at a recent convention that he will be doing some voice work this week for the off again, on again "BUFFY: THE ANIMATED SERIES".

Nick said that Joss is re-shopping the show.

Nick, Anthony Stewart Head, and Alyson Hannigan will be doing the voices.....but SMG will not be involved, neither will David B.

No word on whether or not any other former cast members will be doing voices....but the three mentioned above are definite.

Hope Joss can finally get this done.

This would be great if he could get it done 🙂 Plus, if Angel is cancelled completly, then he has time on his hands to make it 🙂
 
This sounds good. I hope they can get it off the ground this time.
 
I really hope they get it going this time. How great would it be to get up on the weekends and watch cartoons (not really... But animation) that we want to see?
 
Maybe he's not in the series. It bugs me that they won't use SMG's voice though. I've always thought that her voice was pretty distinguishable. Can they use any sort of computer imitation based on the nuances of her voice?
 
It would be nice if they do the show. I mean with both our shows gone next year it would be the perfect time to start it. I mean, they already know they have the fan base.
 
With Angel going, we need something to continue so the cartoon will be perfect!

Maybe they could use the girl who does her voice in the games.

Thumbs up for the show, it'd rock. I figure, that they'll ask Michelle too, seeing as this will be about the high school years (S1, S2, S3) and we've never seen the altered memories, they all have that include Dawn, so that'd rock!
 
That'd be awesome!!! I dont even watch cartoons- but i will! And lets get a Db voice over thinggy- he has a HOT voice!
 
That is good news. It would be probably be on Saturday Morning cartoons, but it is apart of Buffyverse.
 
even though I want to see the animated series happen I highly doubt it, since everytime they try to make it happen someone always ends up pulling out of the project. First it didnt happen because SMG didnt want to do the voice of Buffy so companies didnt want the series, then their just wasnted enough intresting, then it would cost to much money to make it look like Joss wanted it to, then the MTV thing didnt fall through...

But it would be great since they could stay in highschool forever if they wanted, and Angel and Cordelia would never have to leave. They could even introduce cast members from Angel(the show) on Buffy:AS since it would add intresting storylines.
