Buffy: The Making of a Legend
Known for being the target of the school boys crude attentions, Buffy initially accepted it. But it was an old man who caused her to think more of herself though he did have ulterior motives. He wanted her to accept that she was the latest in a long line of girls chosen to protect the world from the vampires.
That she had been born a Chosen One, chosen to be The Vampire Slayer and what did she get in return, Pike. Pike was a weird one, he drove an old van that needed constant repairs, yet somehow he got himself a Triumph motorcycle a leather jacket and a creepy haircut.
And for all her troubles Buffy was kicked out of the school. Her mother decided to find herself a new town to live in, yet she got away with blaming her daughter on having to find another place to live as if that school was the only school in the city.
So her mother took her to a new house in a new town, Buffy had to find herself some new friends and what a great choice she had. Some guy said he might bump into her at the school, even though they both attended the school. As it turned out he was a friend with the girl Buffy could be a friend with, Willow.
Oh yeah, Sunnydale had its own version of the creepy old guy, at least this one wasn’t as old as the hills though his attitude was similar, he wanted to give Buffy a huge old book. One she’d have problems lifting, finding a secret place to put it at her new home would be nigh on impossible, Buffy turned down the Vampyr book.
Luckily enough for Buffy as where she was going to hide it some zombie cat sprang from a few years later. The old guy (Rupert Giles) who gave that book to Buffy wasn’t aware initially that some guy named Jonathon would write a sequel to it years later, called The Tales of the Vampyr.
Life for Buffy began again in Sunnydale as the place to go to for vampires, werewolves, zombies and countless other forms of demons and countless other variations of those demons all were led by some Master vampire who had more wrinkly’s on his face than on his butt (best not to tell him that) though he did have a soul.
The demons got together to put Buffy in the spotlight, one kept his secret a secret so he could become a friend to Buffy though an old friend of his who was more than hundred years old who had always dressed impeccably. She had always been so beautifully attired yet when she moved to Sunnydale she began to dress like slob, as a catholic schoolgirl.
Faced with the realization that the young man she had grown to love was in facts a vampire: Buffy’s world froze then turned upside down. The night her mother was attacked, Buffy thought it was Angel who attacked who had attacked her, Buffy sought to kill him. Then she was told an ex of Angel attacked her mother. Buffy saw Angel kill Darla, his ex.
Even in time Buffy saw Angel as a friend, together they accepted one who should be an arch enemy become the greatest of friends. Their friendship grew and together they planned to kill whatever nemesis stood in their way, be that nemesis a lowly demon or a God.
Giles came to be seen by her and her friends as one who could be trusted, he was even after an attack was launched on Angel. The curse that the gypsy’s laid on him was activated though it backfired to be a curse against humanity only the interference of the beginnings of a powerful witch stop the curse and help mankind,
Buffy found a helper to her cause from an unexpected source yet the troll from her school led evil to end the slayers reign the unexpected gave the help he promised and Giles was rescued. Mankind would be saved once the threat was removed.
Willow kept her promise to help Buffy, with Spikes help Angelus was stopped though Willow gave Buffy her greatest fear, removing the threat that was Buffy’s wonder of love: Buffy had to send Angel to hell. To keep to her mother’s threat Buffy left town and knowingly forgot the world of Buffy accepting the new life of Anne to front her dreams of peace.
