Buffy: The movie

Hey did anyone actually see the movie? I did like way before I think buffy was even created I watched it around 1996.
 
Yea I know, but did you see at the end after the credits, there was this phsco dude, i can't member his name but he was going insane!!
 
I hate the movie. It was utter utter rubbish. The series completely redeemed the whole 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' lineage with the series.
 
I know me too, that is why for a while I didn't watch the series until I found out that sarah michelle geller stared in it, and she is one of my fav actresses so I just had to watch it.
 
I quite liked to Movie but that was before i saw The Series Buffy and then i saw it again and thought it was pants..it would off been better if SMG had played the part in the movie
 
Yea, maybe after a while all the buffy and maybe anel charecters should get together and make a totally new one!!
 
I think the movie was suposed to be lame.
The only thing that saved it was the fact that Luke Perry was in it (He may be before my time but he's still a hottie)
 
The movie sucked, but at least it was funny in a lame sort of way. Remember the main villains REALLY BAD hairdo. Or the way Pee Wee Herman died in the movie. And of course the appearance of up and coming Collect Call comercial superstar, David Arquette. Oh and by the way, Joss has said on numerous occasions that he would like to do a movie starring the cast of the series, it's defintley on the ME agenda, just not for a couple of years though.
 
I heard that they may be doing a movie about Giles, before he was a watcher and stuff. I hope it come out here
 
Actually about the Giles movie, I hate to sound like know it all guy, but that was originally supposed to a spinoff series that Joss and Anthony Head would do. Plans for that fell through, and now Joss says that he's thinking of doing it as a TV movie for the BBC. But that in no way has anything to do with the Buffy feature film that will happen.
 
Yeah that's what I heard. Ripper or something to that effect. Anyhow, I saw the movie when it came out and back then it was cool and funny and all that but now that I have watched the series it wouldn't even be fair to compare the two. It'd be like trying to compar The Crow and City of Angels. Far as the new movie it would be awsome but if Sarah is trying hard to shake the Buffy roll it may not happen. I'm hoping for the best though.
 
I don't get BBC here in australia, will it be sold and stuff? and also, just a thought that if Buffy the movie, went out as a hit and really good, I don't think there would be as many buffy fans now becuase they would think "I saw the movie, isn't that enogh?"
 
I Think the movie was ok but a little on the bad side and nothing like the tv show
 
i saw the flick ages ago and i thought it was alright...i can't really remember it too much i just remember monica's (from friends) hubby being in it and the vampires being able to fly
 
Ugh! The movie was crap! I cant remember much of it, becuase I was only young, but I can remember not liking it!
