I've tried to see some sort of logic in this "two fake Buffys" deal, but it just doesn't make any real sense to me. Here we have the world's most powerful Slayer, hidden away safely in a remote Scottish castle, surrounded by a few dozen ass kicking Junior Slayers, not to mention enough other Slayers all over the world to reinforce them in a really short time, and she's so "vulnerable" that she has to endanger two younger relatively inexperienced girls by having them impersonate her. Does that make the least amount of sense to anyone? The only reason for the whole farce that I can figure is that Joss wanted to use that castle as his base of operations, and had to explain away the "Girl In Question" somehow.

Have you read #05 the Chain cause I think that explains it pretty well. In the case of the Underground-Buffy, she is there to keep the demons living there in check. They fear Buffy much more than any regular Slayer.

Yeah, I finally got the issue, and I guess that pretty well explains the whole deception thing for the "underground" Buffy. As for the Roman Buffy, there HAS to be some better reason for her that that Andrew, "Thought it would be hilarious." In any case, I loved the Tinkerbell knockoff, and I'm really curious about the eggs she laid in Pseudo-Buffy's ear (oops...is that a spoiler?)
