Several entertainment sites reported on the weekend that Sarah has apparently signed on to do Sabrina, The Teenage Witch movie in 2006. We have confirmed that this is NOT true. It was interesting to see, though, how quickly something spreads on the internet.
 
good to know that it was false, thought so.

But cant wait for the actual Sabrina movie to come out. Hopefully with Melissa playing the part even though its based on the comic version.
 
I don't think this is true at all, I think it would be wrong for someone else to play Sabrina, there is nothing wrong with Melissa so I say this is all false.
 
She's not going to this. It has been confirmed by her people. It's just rumor that's stared by an UK magazine and other news paper and others started to repeat this. Without checking if this is really true.

If this really was true it would have been confirmed by www.variety.com or SMGfan.com.

No reliable USA news or TV has confirmed this. Why would the UK be the one /first with this news?
 
Thankyou for that XxSlayerxX. I'm really glad that it's not true. I don't normally believe these kind of rumours but I wouldn't put it past some of the people in showbiz nowadays. They all seem to be doing stupid things and bringing out stupid shows. 😉

Strange... becuase TV tome already has a page on their Movie tome.com for it. The cat has been put together and everything. Yes, Melissa does own the rights to Sabrina, which is why she is cast as Sabrina's mom.

No offense, but that cast list makes absolutely no sense. MJH playing a mother figure to SMG's Sabrina character? How how how is that possible? Her mother isn't young in the show.

And did you notice how every single one of those actors is a fairly BIG name? Every single one of them. Except for Beth Broderick who played Aunt Zelda in the TV series. How often do you get a movie with THAT many big stars... there's ususally 2-4 big stars and the rest are not A-list actors. And Johnny Depp? No way. This is completely fake.

If there was really a movie that had an A-list cast like that signed up, you wouldn't have to quote MovieTome (which has no credibility). The news would be all over the internet. You could quote the trades. There would be an article in Variety.
