Multiverse Networks announced that they're developing (and subsequently publishing) a Buffy the Vampire Slayer MMO (like World of Warcraft, EverQuest, Star Trek Universe, Final Fantasy XI, etc.). On another note, they are also developing a Firefly MMO, which is based on another TV series by Joss Whedon. Below are some sources.

Being one of the people on this board who is both a huge fan of MMOs as well as BtVS, I can say that I wouldn't want to mix the two. Also, was there even any evidence of this being anything but vapourware?

The last press release was just last year, so if that counts towards anything.
 
I hope they release this MMO soon... I've been salivating over it since I first read these articles. I will be buying it for PC.
 
Pc probably. I've heard about this for a while, i hope they release it soon,
 
I really wish they'd update this, it's been around for years, it could be totally epic if they do it right!
