So what do you guys think if Buffy had somehow been turned into a vampire would she still retain her slayer strength as well as vampire strength and be some ridiculously strong unbeatable vamp?

I think she would still have her slayer powers after she was turned, making her offensively strong. It's clear that Buffy kept her powers after dying in Prophecy Girl as well as The Gift, so why not keep them after being turned?

Hmm, Dru with blond hair anyone!? lol.
Vampire Buffy is so blah. She was a vampire, but she wasn't evil. That was the problem. It's like she still kept her soul, she wasn't a real vampire IMO. So I'm not completely sure that all of the things Buffy was as a vampire in her temporal nightmare applies if she becomes a vampire by the natural way. So I'm not sure that the fact that she had Slayer AND vampire strengths when she was a not-so-much-of-a-vampire will be the same if she became a real vampire, outside her nightmare. I'm not saying no, I'm not saying yes. I'm just saying we can't trust that what she was in "Nightmares" would be exactly the same if she's a vampire for real.

Oh I know that. I meant for real, like if she forreal got turned into a vamp what would she be like?

.......I just put that picture there for dramatic effect lol.

Then I think yes, in theory. But that's just a matter of opinion since we have no "prooves" (because like I said, the Nightmares vampire Buffy was't a proof since all of the other vampire qualities didn't match).

I have always thought that Buffy as a vampire would have been badass. She would definitely have been a force to be reckoned with... I like to think that since vampires retain a lot of their human qualities, Buffy would have been super strong since she would have retained some of her super strength as well as getting new vampire strength.

If you're talking about Buffy's Slayer powers, in particular, her Slayer strength increasing what would be her normal vampire strength, there MIGHT be a precedent for it happening that way. Luke, in the series premier 2-part was quite obviously stronger than Buffy or any normal vampire. Judging from his size and physique, it would be fairly obvious that he was far stronger than a normal man when he was human, so there MIGHT be a correlation between how strong a vampire is beinf affected by how strong the human was. If that were true, and this is obviously only conjecture based on a single example, then, yes, Buffy would be more powerful than almost any other vampire.

But that's just a guess.

Also, vampires keep many qualities from their human selves. So who knows.

I would have loved to have seen Buffy's true dark side. She'd be super cool as a vampire, and I think she'd have double the strength. Totally be the leader of a tough vampire gang. I wish there had been an alternate universe episode where we saw Buffy as a vampire instead of other characters, it would have been perfect to see her as the enemy she usually fights.

Yeah that would have been awesome an episode of her as a vamp in another universe. Slayer turned vampire , watch out!

If vampire Buffy had similar taste in clothing to vampire Willow, I'd not have a problem with it... 😉

Just wanna say....I still think Buffy would make an awesome vampire had she been turned.

She would have ridiculous strength bc of slayer strength + vamp strength.

I would say that she would have super-strength since vampires still take on the attributes of the person they posess.

(I have another thought along these lines, but probably need to start a different thread...not sure if I've been around long enough to do that yet...yeee....)
