What do you think is the best Theme the Buffy series has dealt with and why? If possible can you tell me the episode as well thanks to every one that has replied before. 🙂

Angelus but in season 5-death (does this count as a theme?!) because we saw Buffy and Dawn suffer after their mothers death and somehow manae to pull thorugh and then Buffy died,in sacrifice for her sister..

That evil is inside of everyone. It depends on how strong the person is mentally, emotionally and physically to determine how the person will react to the evil that is constantly trying to eat away at them.

Everyone in the Buffyverse has dealt with it.

I think by theme, not the actual storylines are meant, but what they were about ie: love, death, drugs (metafored with Willow's magic) etc.

For me, all theme's were interesting, I can't pick out one. I love this series, because it represents everything real life has aswell, that's what makes it so outstanding.

Got to agree with SpikedBuffy. Buffy is especially fascinating to study; how she learns about what it means to be a Slayer (season 5 mostly). But all characters have good and evil in them, just as all people do. The lesson is to embrace the greyness!

Another theme I like is that it's never too late for redemption. See Faith in Angel S1 (& S4), Spike in Buffy S7 / Angel S5, and Angel, well, pretty much always 🙂
