Buffy to be feted by the Paley Center.

When the Paley Center's annual TV shindig happens this year(the event runs from March 14-27),one of the more notable events will be a reunion of the cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It's joining a bunch of other shows that include NBC's Chuck,the CW's Gossip Girl,AMC's Mad Men,and a trio of ABC shows(most notably Pushing Daisies).

Variety reports that the full schedule will be known by early February,and the festivities will be moving down Sunset Boulevard to the Cinerama Dome.
 
Neat! I've been to the Paley Center. It's really cool. I watched the first ep of GH there.

I wonder if the general public can come and sneak a peak!
 
When you say reunites the cast do you mean the WHOLE cast?

The odds are pretty good that neither Sarah nor David will be there. They both seem to stay away from the Buffy/Angel scene. I guess they figure they've moved on.

(Personal note: I was out in L.A. a couple of years ago...and never even thought of going there. Maybe if I get out there again,I'd look into it.)

Whoa, SMG is going to be there? That's a surprise of the very pleasant variety. And all the many others too....*eyes glaze over* haha. Guess my plans for March 20th ae sorted! haha
 
ok, now looking at all the panelists and seeing that SMG is going... i almost want to cry!!! There's no way i can afford to get across the country to go... plus school and all... ugh! im so upset! *wallows in her pain*
 
They're not allowing any cameras either... grr. Hope someone records it or something into a podcast maybe 🙁

I'd love to go... I mean, it's in my neck of the woods. I could hop on the train and maybe a bus and be there. But did you take a look at those package prices? Phew! Too rich for my blood.
 
I think it was cheap if you're a member, but it's sold out already 🙁 Hope I can get my hands on a DVD.
 
No Charisma?

Just wondered if anybody knows of any reason why Charisma isn`t on the panel. All of the original cast minus her. Just seems a bit strange , I don`t think that she is rushed off her feet at the moment. All I can think is that something has gone on behind the scenes.

Generally,the Paley Center DOES record events like this,as well as chats they do-and they are archived for later use at both of the MTR sites(in L.A. and New York). So,there is hope for seeing it.

Tix for the general public go on sale Monday.

Also-to add on to a prior message-the Paley Center's website does have video of prior shindigs(such as 30 Rock,Battlestar Galactica,etc.)available to view through its website.
 
There won't be general public tickets... apparently ALL tickets were sold out to members. There were only to be GP tickets if they were left over from member sales. Though, for those who live in the area, there is a chance if you go the day of there will be tickets available, lots of people can't go and all that and then there are those tickets left over.
 
dang *shaking head*.

i would be able to scrounge the time and the money for a plane ticket. however, i would have nowhere to stay in LA and, most importantly, i wouldnt be guaranteed a ticket to the reunion.

WHAT A TERRIBLE TEASE!
