Buffy to be shown in the Middle East

They are finally showing Buffy on TV in the middle east. (in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and in Qatar. Probably more countries I'm not sure.)

Starting tomorrow (Tuesday 24/04/07) they are showing Buffy on MBC Action Channel.

Tuesday: 19:00 (1 episode)
Wednesday: 7:45, 10:30, 19:00 (3 episodes)
Thursday: 7:45 (1 episode)

Four episodes of buffy a week sounds good to me!

heh even tho they showed it on tv in australia...and i have the entire box set of dvds...im still gonna watch it!

Yeah, I hear ya.....I watch it every day on TV and I have all the DVDs, too!
Of course you are! I'm always happy when they show it in Sweden (even though it's cencored and such), but that they show it in the Middle East is obviously way cooler. Will your sister and brother-in-law watch it with you? 😛
 
Pfft my brother in law doesnt even like me talking about it, let alone watching it. I might get my sister into it a little bit.
 
Does it get censored in any way in the UAE?

The Translation wasn't horrible at all some of my friends don't speak English very well but they still understand it via the translation
It doesnt get dubbed, its Arabic subtitles. But I dont read arabic very well, so i have no idea if its badly translated.

Basically it doesnt censor out any of the fighting, just sex.
 
^ He doesn't hate it...I dunno he just doesnt really get watching tv shows and really liking them I think.

I'll have to watch to see if they censor out the lesbian stuff. Im about 95% sure they will! hahahaha. I dont know how they're going to explain what happens in "Seeing red" then!

Oh and oddly, I think they're starting with Season 6!

They'll start with S7 because they already aired all back in 2003
They've showed it last year on MBC4 I watched it then and I think I'm watching it again although I have the DVDs
 
Yeah i was wondering if they showed it on MBC4. Because they always go on about MBC action only being aimed at Men....

All the adds I saw, were of Season 6. But who knows, I gotta watch it tonight.
