I had to share a little with you guys about my Buffy trivia night at Rare Form, one of our breweries in Troy N.Y.
My friend (of over 20 years now, who in middle school got me into Buffy (1999... our high school years 2000-2004 coincided with height of Buffy mania.)), and I went to the Buffy trivia night last Thursday. Back in high school, we used to make quizzes for each other on the show - it was more fun than most of the other quizzes we had in school & we were/are diehard fans. I personally just know so many little details thanks mostly to the watchers guides and I pride myself on being an uber fan so I was not all that surprised when our team (team name was Spikes Bitches) was in the lead for 99% of the game. Of course with the last question, they let you risk as many points as you wanted, but we ended up betting too much and the last question was B.S. AND we think the people who got it looked it up on their phone! The last question was something about what was the name of the bar in Massachusetts that had a mixed drink named the Vampire Slayer but had to change the name due to legalities... they also said what the changed the name of the drink to but I forget what it was...needless to say, we had no clue. -_-
I'm posting a couple pictures of my friend & I; the first one she wanted me to delete but oh well and the second one... I was way too drunk (still happy drunk at least).
