Hey all new here this is my first post on this forum, lovin it so far this is a cool community great to see its still active i used to visit it a long time ago, but was just a guest
Anyways i'm sure many of you here especially those who watched buffy live or used to download music remember the old file sharing programs that were extremely popular from 99 up to around 2013
before the show was on dvd people captured the airings from various channels using capture cards on there pc either live/digitally or from a vcr and encoded them into digital files then shared them online
anyways i used to have the whole series taken from these versions i downloaded but lost most of them in 2022 from hdd crash and the cds i had them on had long since gotten disc rot and failed, i only managed to save season 7 and a few s6 and s4 episodes, as for angel i got very very lucky and a ton were saved but lost season 1 and around half of s3,
i've been trying to find these tv rips again for years but unfortunately have had absolutely 0 luck since many old sites were shut down and on the new ones theres only dvd/blu ray rip, these older copies are special to me as its the main way i would always rewatch buffy i've seen this series probably a dozen times its easily in my top 5 sci fi series, it feels weird without the channel logo and the quality increased with each season so season 1-2 was blocky/pixellated 3 a little less so 4-6 was clear but a bit blurry, then 7 looks almost like a dvd rip but with a channel logo it was definetely a unique way to watch but i loved it
i was hoping if anyone here had any of these older files still perhaps saved digitally or on cds, and could rip/share them
