So after 10 Years of Watching Buffy, whether it be first times or DVD re-runs I know I've taken some wordage from the Buffyverse and incorporated it into my everyday routine.

Almost once a day you'll hear me say we're "5 by 5".

I'm wondering what phrases you have taken from the Buffyverse?

LOL i use Peachy with a side of keen alot Buffy said that in a few episodes lol

i also use wiggin sometimes, ohhh and i say kissage alot... sometimes 5 by 5. and I say nifty more then i used to lol

But not a whole huge bunches of stuff...

i say 'bored now' a lot. and 5x5, and i tend to add '-age' to the end of words, like kissage as AB said. i say peachy with a side of keen too, and insane troll logic. ok, maybe there's a lot i use! lol

oh, and i very recently said 'i think i speak fo everyone when i say, huh?' i was quiet proud of myself for that one!! lmao!

A
Angels baby101
LOL ya i use the Speak for everyone.. One as well sometimes and the bored now :P forgot bout those haha
hahhaha - insane troll logic - that's my once a week thing that everyone looks at me funny...and we're talking huge programming meeting - the fate of the radio station and i'll just look around and be ...um...that just insane troll logic guys...

lol! ohhh and i use "Once more with feeling" a lot - just saying that line....which i never used to say before the episode

I don't really use any Buffy words well not that I notice. I just don't ever get the opportunity to drop them into conversation, plus the kids I teach aren't that quick at the best of times so I think I would seriously mess with their heads if I started quoting Buffy things in class! Bless!

I sometimes say "La La La!"

Like how Willow does in the episode of 'Pangs' when shes talking to Giles. Where she says "You just want to kill the demon and go La la la!"

"Insane troll logic" always gets a laugh, as well as "Your logic is not like our earth logic" especially where I work...very logical people, those tradesmen..."Bored now" and "{insert word} much" (like "morbid much" only different..."slutty much", "asshole much"...you get the drift😉). Biggest laugh I ever got was when I said the Xander line "I speak for everyone here..." to my supervisor once when he was being a total idiot and making absolutely no sense...

OH!! someone said the Earth logic to me once, and gave the Xander reply of 'Mine is much more advanced' i know he doesn't watch the show, so i've always wondered how he heard of it. maybe someone else said it to him and he just picked it up! lol
i say that '... much' thing too sometimes.

I get a kick out of when you hear stuff that sounds like Buffy-speak infiltrating the general language. I've been watching that cable series "Dirt" lately. I've heard what's your damage, high functioning schizophrenic, and mad skills there so far. OK, the Buffy writers didn't invent those, but I know them from Buffy.

Can someone help us out here? I really thought it was Xander...but the more I think about it, it might have been Buffy after all...anyone have a definitve answer?
The ep was Invisible Girl aka Out of Mind, Out of Sight. I found this on tv.com

Giles: Of course! I've been investigating the mystical causes of invisibility when I, I should have looked at the quantum mechanical! (off their look) Physics.
Buffy: I think I speak for everyone here when I say, "huh?"

I use a bunch :
5x5
Bored Now
"(insert a word) much?"
nifty
Bitca

I also used to say peachy with side of keen at some point like AB101
I'm always trying to find more because the expression are funny to use but I always tend to forget them so...
:silly:

I use 5 x 5, insane troll logic, "your logic does not resemble our Earth logic," bored now and bitca all the time, and I also tend to add "-age" to the ends of words. I know people are looking at me funny because of it, lol!

Me and the hubby always use "Foamy". Even when not talking about beer...just liquids in general.

Otherwise, I'm sure other ones slip in there a lot of the time, but I don't always catch it.
