Buffy-Verse Poll-Stravaganza! Episode 14

Let's do it! What's your fav....well, yeah, that sounds like a broken record, so I'll you guys get straight to it! 😀

I definitely went with Innocence. The first epic episode of the show, and it really showed you what Buffy was capable of. A brilliant episode. Still, I loved Bad Girls, Crush, Older and Far Away, Release, and Smile Time (although ST in my opinion is tad bit overrated.)

I have to go for 'Innocence' as well. The show up until this point had been exceptional and then Joss just blew the doors off! I don't give it enough credit when I list my favourite eps because I am a sucker for the end of season finales with their huge sweeping gestures and overly dramatic climaxes, but this is right up there with them for grandeur and epic scale. This episode was the original game changer by which all others were later measured, in my opinion.

I voted for Innocence, but smile Time is probably the episode I've watched the most (after OMWF). I love both really really much, but Bangel kinda wins... except for the Spike/puppet Angel fight!!!

I love Smile Time and Innocence, but it came down between Bad Girls and Crush for me. In the end though, I picked Bad Girls.

Smile Time. Angel was a bloody puppet! You just can't beat that.

Innocence, hands down. I loved that whole storyline. It's one of my favorite arcs over the entire series, and it's still heart-breaking every time I see it.

And you're right, there are some pretty awesome Buffy moments in this episode. Her storming into class and just grabbing Jenny was a powerful scene that I didn't see coming. The rocket launcher was obviously chalk-full of awesomeness. And the Buffy/Angelus fight was wicked. Plus, Oz: "So...do you guys steal from the military a lot?"

The ending is what gets me though. Buffy sitting with her Mom on her birthday: Joyce: "So, what did you do for your birthday?" Buffy: "I got older. Let's just watch it burn." Such a sad scene.

Honorary mention goes to "Smile Time", which is one of my favorites. "The thin dead line" was pretty fun too.

"Innocence" : heart-breaking and beautifully shot and acted. (Gotta love Crush and Smile Time though)

Well even though I'm not a big fan of season 2 I have to go with Innocence, it was a pretty good episode & it kinda defined the show ..
