Hi,

i know that there are some Videogames out there, and i would like to get one of them on ebay or used on amazon if i find one.

as far as i know the games were only released for game consoles, and im a pc gamer, never owned a gameconsol.

but my flatmate happes to own a xbox360, and i think its possible to play classic xbox games on the new console, right?

he will prply laugh at me when i start playing a buffy game, he thinks the show is a girly children show. but he plays these dragonball games all the time, so ill just ignore that 😀

has somebody experience with runnig one of the games on a xbox360? do i need a old classic controler or could i just put the dvd in and play?

and if you happen to know all of them, which one would you recomend for a consol noob?

The classic Buffy games are compatible with Xbox 360, but there is a glitch on Chaos Bleeds apparently.

Framerate dips when characters are on stairs, both during cutscenes and gameplay. White lines appear at the top of the screen during cutscenes when characters are talking.

I'd personally go for Chaos Bleeds, the levels are extremely addictive. But, of course, if you're not cool with the glitch don't bother. Shouldn't be an issue though.

No issues with the controller, use the Xbox 360 one!
 
I bought Chaos Bleeds for christmas only thing is I can't play it. Make sure that your roommates xbox is the white xbox or the new black one but with a harddrive. My brother has the new 4gb Black one and it wont play Chaos bleeds without a harddrive.
 
I bought Chaos Bleeds and the original and love them! Both have worked fine on my roommates xBox 360. I'm not sure of the kind he has, but he's had it for a year and it is white so, if that helps!

I love the story in Chaos Bleeds and that you get to play as multiple characters. And I don't want to have spoilers, but
I love that you the boss you fight at the end of each level is a sort-of significant other of the character you are playing (I say sort of because when you are Buffy you fight Giles/Ripper.

But I also love the original because it makes you feel like you are in an episode. At the beginning of an episode it will tell you "Sunnydale High 7:06pm" and there are some levels where you are just talking with Giles, Xander, and Willow in the library. It's neat 😀
 
Buffy video games

Heya 🙂

Wow..It's been a super long time since I've posted anything here. My bad >.> Bad Buffy fan! BAD.

Anyway...

I started feeling the urge to play the Buffy games again a few months back, and I recently got an original Xbox (Have NO interest in the 360) and the 2 games off of Amazon.

Here I am, sitting here supremely excited to play them, especially the first game, which I found to be far superior to Chaos Bleeds. Or at least, that's what I used to think. I haven't yet played CB again since I got it, so I can't really say if I really still think that. I'm in the midst of playing the original one right now...And I honestly cannot believe how much this game ROCKS. It's even better than i remember it, which is saying something. I even have my almost 6 year old niece playing it, right now as a matter of fact, and she loves it. (Though she already LOVED Buffy, courtesy of me, so it's no real surprise.)

I totally wish they'd come out with another Buffy game. Or even an Angel one. Oh hell, go nuts and make both! I know that at one point they were planning a Buffy MMO, but nothing about that has been said in far too long, so I doubt it's still happening, Makes me a sad panda, as I thought that would have been amazing.

Who else here has played, or is still playing, the Buffy games? What'd you think of em?

Yeah that was way back in the day. I don't remember much of it.

I really want to get my hands on "Chaos Bleeds" though.
 
We had both games... I miss playing them so much! I liked the first game better 'cause there was a secret battle thing you could unlock and fight any big bad from the game you wanted.
Overall, though, I liked Chaos Bleeds because it played like a lost episode of the show. It was amazing.

Wait...Whatttt? I didn't know about the unlockable secret battle. Do you remember how to unlock it?!

Chaos Bleeed is soooo good. 😉 Just like Britt, I felt like it was an episode from the show. The ambience was very Buffy-like and the one liners were spot on! When I rewatched BtVS last time, I actually thought of the game when I heard some of the music playing, since they used a lot of it in CB. Hahaha! 😎

I'm pretty big on video games, but I haven't played the BtVS ones. (Yes, I know, blasphemy!) Mainly because how my family and friends will be on my case for being such a BtVS geek. I'll try get them if I can, since you guys say they're really good and worth playing.
 
When I first saw Chaos Bleeds at Blockbuster back in 2003 I had a heartattack I didnt even know they made Buffy games

I used to play Chaos Bleeds so much still do but I always had preferred the Xbox game cause everybody does their voices except our beloved Sarah
 
I own Chaos bleeds. I got it last christmas but I've never been able to play it because my brothers xbox doesnt have a harddrive grrr but I really want to play it 🙁

The BtVS "Chaos Bleeds" game is actually REALLY cool, whether you're a fan of the show or not. My cousin came over to my house, who has LONG heckled me over being a BtVS fan and watched my hubby play. My hubby turned the controller over to him and he admitted that it was actually a pretty good fighting game. 🙂
 
I don't have an Xbox but an Playstation2. Is Chaos Bleeds only good at Xbox or is is good at PS2 too? I am asking because I was still asking myself if I should buy it! But 50 € is expensive for me!! So I just want to know some oppinions before!!

It's good for the PS2 as well, Ripper 😉. I just chose to get the Xbox version because I ordered an Xbox and not a PS2, and while I have a PS3, the version I have doesn't play PS2 games. But anyway....

50? That's steep for anyone, especially for an older game. I found it for you for much, much cheaper. (Based on where you have as your location)

We have a Wii, Game Cube, and Nintendo DS- can you play any of these games on any of those systems? I probably wouldn't play, but watch while my kids played. 🙂
