Buffy Videogames

I've played half of Chaos Bleeds, unfortunately I'm rubbish at all computer games and I constantly died and spent ages wandering around trying to figure out what to do next(how are you meant to know?)! It was enjoyable but very stressful!

Another Question, there was never a Buffy or Angel Videogame for the computer, was it? Was there ever an Angel game?

F
Firefly
No official Buffy/Angel video games for PC
I have an Xbox and I own both BtvS and BtvS; Chaos bleeds. I got mine both from ebay for about 8 dollars a piece. (I got them from the UK).

I'm really happy with them! I haven't played the first one that much, but I have played Chaos bleeds a lot. I really enjoyed it.

Buffy XBOX Game

Has anybody played the Buffy game for XBOX?

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UndYskvw1WE"]Xbox Longplay [004] Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Part 1 of 3) - YouTube[/ame]

These are the actors who voice the characters

1): Giselle Loren as Buffy
2): Anthony Stewart Head as Giles
3): Alyson Hannigan as Willow
4): Nicholas Brendon as Xander
5): Charisma Charpenter as Cordelia
6): James Marsters as Spike
7): David Boreanaz as Angel

Does anybody know what season this game is supposed to take place in?

I looked it up on Wikipedia, it says: "Released in 2002 for Xbox Set in the third season between "Revelations" and "Lovers Walk". The Master, being resurrected in a phantom form, is searching for a body to possess."

I watched the video for a few minutes and it definitely seems vaguely familiar. I probably rented the game when it came out and played it a bit. I don't remember whether I beat it or not.. but I know I played it atleast 😛

I always wanted this game, but I didn't own an XBOX.

I have the second game that came out, but it's set in season 5, so no Angel or highschool and any other cool things from the early seasons ._.

Though in the second game you do get to play as Faith, Sid the Dummy, Spike, Xander and Willow :3

Oh and you fight Vampire Tara and demon Anya. You use Bunnies to help kill her!

Yup I've played it a lot, 😀 Only recently got rid of it. I loved this game though, well made and very fun, even repeating the levels was fun. That SMG didn't do Buffy's voice doesn't bother me as the girl who does her voice sound similar enough for me.

Chaos Bleeds was also great, some might say better, but I do prefer this one. I didn't know when it took place though so thanks to WWGD for that information 🙂

You should have done a search; there are other threads here about this. 😉 Yes, I've played the game. My hubby and I used to have both the original and the "Chaos Bleeds" one and both were awesome!

Dude, I'm so walking in the Library! (Buffy Chaos Bleeds)

Has anybody else ever played the second Buffy game (well technically not second), "Chaos Bleeds"? This is my very first Buffy game I've played (video wise, I've played the board game). And I honestly don't get the backlash that I've heard about the game. People were acting like it was horrible, and I'm already half way in and I think its awesome. Of course, I've never played the first, the one in which was "superior" to CB, but it's amazing to walk into different sets and locations of the show. Vampire and demon killing aside, I find myself just walking around the Sunnydale High Library, or the courtyard, or the Magic Box, just reenacting scenes. The sets are scary accurate too. What did you think of this game? If you've played it?

I adore the game. I really love to play it. The only thing I don't like about it, it that you first have to finish a level in order to be able to save your game. That is something that bothers me, since the levels are pretty long and I just don't always have time to play an hour and a half straight.

But overall, I would say it's a great game. Just like you said, it's cool to walk around in Sunnydale and other places.

Exactly Appelsapientje. I was so mad when I had to start all over again (I'm at the Xander level at the high school). And it's getting harder and harder by the minute. That frickin werewolf kills me all the time. But I'm still loving it. 🙂

I have it, but can't figure out how you actually finish a level...the challenges seem to go on endlessly...haven't been able to unlock anything...

I like only being able to save after you beat a level xD

I love Downtown Sunnydale 🙂 it was so cool. I understand the hate it get's though. It wasn't made by a big game company like Naughty Dog or anyone close like that so while playing it I always felt like it could have been much better, but it still rocks.

The two player sucks though. Very boring mode. Also, I remember trying to unlock all the characters for it and the last character was blacked out, but from the silhouette of the character I thought it was Angel. I freaked and spent ages trying to unlock him only for it to turn out to be Joss Whedon...I was mad XD

There's a weird bug that causes vampires and demons you just staked to be re-spawned right behind you after you killed them and they have zero health 😵.

I also could have done with a hard mode...every game needs a hard and pro mode XD

An Angel game in the style of Devil May Cry would be cool.

Well see, Aloverssoulz, that's the case with a lot of movie/tv show licensed games. They assume the brand itself would equal strong game sales, as opposed to actually making the game an actual good one. I've played too many games from movies or shows and they, to be honest, sucked. And you're right, it would've been better if a big name created the game.

Totally. I'm shocked at how well the game ended up being compared to other games based off shows and movies. I have played through it around 5 times and they re-made Sunnydale very well. I hope a 3rd game is made sometime.

I love it too. I played it untill two day till the last level, but then I couldn't finish the last enemy! I loved the really detailed settings, the different characters and the hole history of the game! It was like another episode, just that you could act in it! And I liked Sid! This is one of the best games I ever played! I never heard about those guys who hate it, I guess those are the ones who didn't watched Buffy once in their life. And I can understand them. More less it's always the same, hit and kick, search a key or something else and hit and than kick once again. I guess I was just so absessed because I am such a big Buffy fan.

Actually, Ripper666, the fighting system in CB was really complex, and a vast improvement from the first game, I've heard. I thought it was the same punch, kick, throw, stake too, but as I look through the Slayer Handbook and such, it's a lot of combinations you can do. They said it was almost 150 fighting combinations. Plus, pressing a lot of buttons doesn't hurt either. 😀 And yes, being a Buffy fan makes the game all the more better. Like I was sooo psyched to walk into the Library, and the High School, and the movie theatre, and stuff like that. I wish they added the Summers Home to the set list, now that would be cool. I would just go up to Buffy's room and just fall asleep, maybe redecorate, you know, put some Hanson posters on my wall. Hahaha. 🙂
