Buffy vs Angel

::cakes:: A new thingy is formed. As you can probobly tell im new to all this. But Buffy is one of the best shows ever created alot better than Ange.
So in this form thingy we shall be batteling it out between Angel and Buffy who will win?
The girl that will not die or the guy with nice hair but alot of issues. Only time will tell which one will imerge victoriouse. So your imput is allways valid even if its random nonsense.

I agree that Buffy is better than Angel.For me the characters are more relatable, probably cos they are closer to my age than the AI gang and deal with stuff i'm more familiar with.Don't get me wrong, Angel is a great show and the addition of Spike can only improve it but Buffy will always rule.
 
yes will never compare to buffy. the characters in buffy so much better ;p and i can relate to also like willowlover said. plus the humour. faith and spike joining should improve angel tho.
series 1 to 3 of buffy will never be matched by anything ever televised ;] love it.
 
Buffy wins over Angel in my opinion. But they are also very different shows and Angel hasn't been on as long as Buffy so when Angel ends maybe it will be close to what Buffy is.........i mean was! 🙁
 
Buffy...it was the creator of Angel...Angels still good but Buffy Rock..ED!🙁
Buffy S1-3 was the best better than S4-7 anyday!
 
i think angel just keeps getting better and better with every season and i've started liking it more than buffy.

the only reason i ever started watching buffy was because i flicked on to the chanel one day by accident and angel was on it and so that's how i got hooked.

though don't get me wrong, i love buffy and seasons 1, 2 + 3, are on a draw with angel, but after he left and then cordy left and faith and oz, the show just wasn't the same anymore.
 
There is no question that Buffy is.....i mean was a better show. Dont get me wrong Angel is great but will it ever be the same as Buffy The Vampire Slayer......some say that people only like Buffy more because it has been going for 7 yrs, 3 series longer then Angel. This is possible but remembering back to season 4 of Buffy i had grown alot more into buffy then i have in Angel season 4. There was Oz, Buffy and Willow at college.....the death of Joyce.....the return of Faith......the introduction of Willow and Taras relationship. The things the characters of Buffy go through are much more realistic.....the story lines more realistic and the characters much more lovable....LONG LIVE BUFFY....tell me wat u think...smiles_tom@hotmail.com
 
huh ;] season 2 and 3 had oz.. season 3 had faith. oz at wild at heart and faith was only there for 2 episodes in series 4. yes it may be realistic ;] but more enjoyable? i think not. if i wanted realistic id watch the news 😀. good joyce gone yes but adding tara! nooooo what was Joss thinking, get alot of followers but may have lost alot of fans. at college there all split up ;[ and there is no fun chatting between buff,will,xander.
 
I think that buffy is better, cause it's the original show and theres more humor than in angel. Also Willow's my fav character and shes on Buffy so that made it better....
 
I totally disagree that buffy is better. I like angel so much more becuz the humour and the plot is much darker and more interesting than buffy's. With buffy u get the i wanna save the world cuz i hafta. With angel, its i wanna save it so i can redeem myself....Buffy is lonely only cuz she b!tched away all her boyfriends but angel is condemned to lose his soul if he feels true happiness. Angel is way betta and just cuz its a spinoff it doesnt make any difference.

Also, a lot of yall are saying how much season 1-3 is way betta than the other ones.....guess what maybe becuz....angel was in season 1-3 and not in the other one.
 
buffy is better than Angel, dont get me wrong i love Angel also, but buffy is where my heart is... an always wiil be.
 
Both equal shows both have great writers , great cast , great drama, great humor, all in one great tv 🙂
 
ooooo i couldn't choose between the two, i love them both!!!

i do admit i love buffy seasons 1-3 more though i think it's because all the characters were in the one show...well apart from the few that joined later eg, oz and faith and then spike and drew in season 2
 
Even though Angel totally rocks,I don't think the show will ever compare to classic Buffy. Episodes like Hush, The Gift, Becoming etc. have to be up in the tv hall of fame. Plus i don't think Angel has ever made me weep like a baby as much as BTVS has in such episodes as 'The Body'. I just hope Spike joining the cast will bring some Sunnydale edge to the show.

I totally agree. Buffy is so better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Angel will never be as relateble to buffy, she's human- hes not. Oh and angel, the show, has so been destroyed becos cordy's in a coma, her brilliant character has been ruined!
