Ok, this questions goes on a lot of levels.

Which one is cooler?

Which do you prefer, the Buffy franchise(the series, movie, comics, books) or Blade(comics, movies)

Which is an overall better vampire slayer?

Which one is cooler?
Point has to go to Blade - he's got confidence, and array of cool custom weapons (consider that razor-boomerang and the booby-trapped katana) that are ALWAYS ON HIM!

Which do you prefer, the Buffy franchise(the series, movie, comics, books) or Blade(comics, movies)
Point goes to Buffy - more developed characters and sub-plots.

Which is an overall better vampire slayer?
Point goes to Blade - trying to be fair here, but remember Blade 1 where he took out an entire freakin' night-club full of vamps? Buffy really has only face 3-4 of them at a time tops.

Who would win in a fight?
Blade - All things being equal... he's quicker and a dirtier fighter (remember he's part vamp). Blade also has about 15 years on Buffy fighting experience-wise and is in top physical condition. Buffy's got Slayer powers... but let's face it the girl needs a sandwich!

Now... what if it was FAITH vs. BLADE? Now THAT would be a royal donny-brook!

The leather, the car, the attitude. Blade, definately.

Better characters, more history. Has to be Buffy.

Weapons, experience, ability. Blade.

Who would win in a fight?
This is a tough one. I'm willing to bet that Buffy is stronger than Blade, but Blade has the edge in experience, better weapons and attitude. However, Buffy and the Scoobies (just struck me funny that we call the gang the Scoobies and SMG played Daphne). Anyway, Buffy and the Scoobies always find a way to win. If it was a straight, one-on-one fight, Blade would win. If the Scoobies are around, Buffy would win. Xander or Giles would shoot Blade with a tranq or Willow would cast a 'Hold Person' spell on him.
One point Blade, one point Buffy.

Overall - Blade three, Buffy two.

Blade wins, but just barely.

Blade definetly, the weapons he's kitted out with definetly surpass those of Buffy, and the whole leather coat sunglasses thing gives him the "coolness".

Which do you prefer?
well that one is difficult, but it has to be Buffy, as she has the whole "scooby gang" to support her, and there are more storylines to be had.

Which is the better slayer?
BLade is more efficient, with the weaponary and all, but Buffy has the charisma to earn her the point.

Who would win in a Fight?

i think BLade would probably win becasue he has more weaponary and he is half vamp, but buffy has the brains to outwit him.

name one major movie other than ALI and Shaft, that portrayed a "black bad ass" character as the primary protagonist??

its even less for other minorities like hispanics...the only bad ass they ever had was ZOro...

have you ever seen sarah throw a punch in buffy...horrible...how much you wanna bet her "kick boxing" is some bullshit wanna be martial art like Tae bo...

and in a real life hand to hand situation against her bodyguards...i'd put my money on Wesley....

neverless my vote goes to buffy
and im sorry to say that based mainly on the fact that i couldnt even sit through the Blade movie, somtthing about it just grated on me, yet i can sit through 4 staaright days of buffy
so yeh

How could I forget, he's all muscle, no brain ... maybe he should take acting lessons instead!
 
Blade could beat Buffy. He has a wider range of fighting skills and weapons. Also he has that old man (forgot name) to back him up.
