Buffy vs Cordelia (Boxing match)

I know this might sound funny to some but in the episode Homecoming I had an idea for a comical moment that could have been added.
Buffy decides to challenge Cordelia in becoming Homecoming queen and we cut to a scene where both Buffy and Cordelia are in a boxing match. Buffy knocks out Cordelia in the first second of the round and Cordelia goes down and Buffy wins. Then we cut back to the scene where Buffy is in the present moment and thinks, "Nah Cordelia isn't going to accept a boxing match".

I feel that was a missed opportunity where the episode could have had this funny moment.

Even funnier would have been Cordy fantasizing about decking Buffy to everybody's astonishment, then walking away with a smirk saying "NOBODY messes with Queen Cordy!" then (in reality) her eyes meet Buffy's, and they both shake their heads and say, "Nahhh."
