Buffy Vs Faith

I'm on the Buffy side.
I think in a fight to the death Buffy would win.
She has saved the world... how many times?🙂

But I guess we'll never find out...

There should be a poll here.

My money's on Buffy. As much as I love and adore Faith, she's WAY too emotional. She lets her anger fuel her in a fight, and sometimes she can't step back enough to observe the situation before she jumps right in, as evidenced by the fact that she attacked Spike in the cemetery in 'Dirty Girls' when she thought Spike was chasing an innocent girl instead of a vampire.

Buffy is much more reserved and composed. She uses her emotions as assets instead of weaknesses - most of the time - and she knows when to fight and when to pull back and regroup.

I love Faith but I'd have to go with Buffy as it'd all come to to experience and the buffsters just had more time in the ring than Faith.

I think Buffy would come out on top, but it would be a pretty brutal fight.

^ my thoughts exactly.

Faith in Season 3 and reformed Faith in Season 7 are very different people, they act and fight differently.
I'd put my money on reformed Faith.

The major fault in that logic is that Season 7 Faith has spent almost 4 years in the Gray Bar Hotel, where her demon fighting has been slight if not totally nonexistent. Buffy, during that same time has been fighting and learning to beat some of the most powerful opponents of her career. She is, to say the least, at the top of her game in Season 7, whereas Faith has been out of action for all of that time. In Season 3, Buffy and Faith were almost perfectly matched. If not for using the knife, Buffy stood just as much chance of losing to Faith in a fair fight as she did winning. In Season 7, no contest, Buffy all the way. By the end of Season 8, though, the match would probably, once more, be too close to predict with any degree of certainty.

Yeah, but Buffy having 2+ years of experience over her and having defeated the likes of the Master and Angelus sure didn't stop Faith from being (almost) evenly matched with her in 'Graduation Day'. At any rate, I think Slayer strength is honed rather than increased.

And she has spent at best 3 (not 4) years in prison, during which I imagine she had to fend off quite a few female...err, suitors. So there's that for practice. 😛

I was referring to Buffy's experience after Faith went into prison, not before Faith came to Sunnydale.

Yes, but then you have to remember that there was no way Faith could use her full power to fend of these...ladies, otherwise she would almost certainly have killed them. She would have had to hold back quite a bit. And I imagine something like that, after spending three years in a place like that, would have made holding back almost second nature. Which is why I think Wesley drove her into that gang of vampires, so that she could remember what it was like to fight at full strength again.

I'd say in prison she would have had to have honed her senses, no one wants to get jumped if they've dropped the soap. Also, she was exercising and doing weights and came out to fight not only The Beast but after getting severely beaten and pumped full of drugs faced Angelus and was evenly matched to him at his full strength.
Like she says 'Just like riding a biker'
Buffy and Faith were evenly matched in Season 3 even with Buffy's 2 extra years experience under her belt. They're so evenly matched, I'd say depending on the circumstances of the fight it'd be who wants it more.

In Prison, Faith would have, at best, had to fight a few particularly brutal inmates, while Buffy was fighting vamps and demons every night. No comparison.
I don't think that ether would win, as we have seen many times befor win they fight one of them gets close to winning then a big bad pops out of no were and they defet it, one jumps of a building, or runs away. I think that even though they hate each other at times they also love each other like sisters.

If it really really came down to it and Buffy was willing to kill faith for a good reason like hurting dawn or killing someone close to her BUFFY WOULD KICK HER A**.

However I'd have to go with Faith if it was just a silly little fight for no reason fight because faith is a bitca and would probably take a cheap shot and kill her for no reason. Ugh I do not like her at all.

Buffy. She's already beating Faith in season 3 and Buffy got even stronger in season 5 with training from Giles. She was pulling off moves she never done before and taking out 4-5 Vamps without breaking a sweat.
