all yall smallvillians...don't get nuts cause i spelled the name wrong....it just sounds cooler that way...

simple question...which is the better show...smallville....or buff...this may be a little biased cause we are on a buffy board...but i'm sure some peeps from the smallville board will come on to defend their show...

let Mortal Kombat begin....lol
 
ok, i've only seen smallville a couple times but i think that Buffy is better. Smallville is pretty good and i do like watching it but it's not a show that i would HAVE to watch every week, like Buffy.
 
I don't think much of Smallville, Buffy totally rocks! FAR BETTER.
 
You can't compare a show that had a wildly successful seven year-run to a show only about to start its third season, which was created to fill the void of the first show.

Of course Buffy's the better show. It's had four more years of development. Also, it's writing team didn't completely change midway through the first season, and its focus wasn't forcefully changed AGAIN during the second season.

This is like asking who would win in a fight between a high school kid and a fifth grader. So all you Buffy fans, shut up, and try comparing with the same foundation and pedigree to BtVS.

Im not that big of a fan of Smallville, I like Buffy better and plus I heared that Smallville tried to copy some of buffy about the whole highschool thing, also heard it in Joss's 100 question thingy
 
fine then...make this an even match...

pick the best show out of...

smallsville...vs...buffy...seasons 1, 2, and half of three...

smallsville...by nature is at a great disadvantage because of the rules imposed by whoever to keep the show relatively clean...although it has had its moments....which were usually forced (showing clark's ass, lana with barely anything on, chloe sucking on a lollipop)...but none the less enjoyed...

lol...i made a gif of that chloe lollipop thing...i wish i could find a place to post it...
 
I like buffy's hotties better than smallville so if it was smallville first and second and buffy first and second..i'd go with buffy 1st and 2nd, but buffy's cancelled so y'all are losers anyway, a board for a cancelled show haha. Im jk y'all 🙂

You got it wrong there Smallzie, Buffy was not cancelled. The word cancelled suggests that the network decided not to air it anymore, when in fact Joss decided to end it...very different.
 
Yeah, Joss and SMG decided not to keep going. Joss had options set up for the end of season 7.
 
smallvillians ain't bringing any thing... this is kinda dissapointing cause i thought they came harder...

the first half of season 3 dirshes all of the eps in smallsville....
 
first season to me is a push, with a slight edge to Smallville.
I think they both had really good debut, though smallville had more episodes for their 1st season.


The second season goes to Buffy, I was quite frankly disappointed with Smallville's sophmore season, until of course the final 4 weeks and especially the season finale which I really enjoyed.
Buffy's season 2 finale was really good, that episode Becoiming 1 and 2 are really good but I am a Dru fan and she was really good in both eppy's.

I expect good things from season 3 this year. I just wish they didnt move it to Wednesday at 8 pm, that really interferes with my Enterprise viewing!
 
i guess i gotta rep smallsville....that smallsville board...hella sad...

kristen kreuk...is ten times hotter than any chick on buffy....

tom welling...is a horrible actor...but i know allot of chicks were looking forward to seeing his ass...even though it was a stunt ass...

smallsville can't compete with the depth...but it can certainly compete with shallow aspects...like good looking people...lol...i sound like derek zoolander.....that movie was so stupid...
 
Buffy and Smallville all two of my favorite shows, but I would chose Buffy over smallville anyday.
