As long as we're doing the "Buffy vs Blade" thing, how about this one? Buffy toe-to-toe with the sexiest vampire in the universe, Vampirella (I'm sure there hasn't ever been a decent movie made about Vampi 'cause NO actress living could possibly wear that costume without it being mostly paint and glue). Who would win?

I've never really heard of Vampirella, but just by looking at her, I'd be too afraid I get an STD if I fought her!

Would you believi that in that outfit she's been celibate for almost 30 years? Okay, 20. Well. never on the first date, except for that one time...
Okay, honestly, I've never read one single Vampirella book. Not one. But I do know that she is "technically" a vampire. Sooooo, in that case, I'd have to go with Buffy, again. Unless she developed a "thing" for Vampirella, then she'd be in the same boat with Angel and Spike! :lmao:

Actually, Vampirella was not a "real vampire (i.e., not undead.) Originally, she was an alien, a native of the planet Drakulon, where the water had a similar composition to human blood. She has fangs, she's stronger than a human, can shapeshift, and needs blood to live, but sunlight doesn't bother her, and she's not affected by the cross, holy water, garlic, etc. Then Harris comics bought the rights to the character and eventually changed her origin story around, but she's still not a true vampire.

In the early 70s, a movie was planned as a joint venture between Warren publishing, who owned the character, and Hammer film studios. Barbara Leigh was cast as Vampirella, and an exact copy of the costume was made for her. She did several of the comic magazine covers as Vampirella, and really looked the part (see here: Barbara Leigh Autographed Photos Frame), but that was about the time that Hammer was failing, and Warren went under not too long after, so the movie never got made. We will not speak of the piece of dreck that was filmed by Roger Corman a few years ago...

Yeah, I saw the dreck, and it was truly unspeakable. As for Ms Leigh's costume, it's STILL more than Vampi ever wore.

If you notice, I put "technically" meaning she is a vampire in the sense that she needs blood to live.

Vampirella vs. Buffy Summers

From Wizard Entertainment

"THE PLAYERS: Born on the blood-drenched planet Drakulon, Vampirella journeyed to Earth for a sacred mission: to destroy all vampires, the evil offspring of her own mother, Lilith! With superhuman strength and speed and the ability to transform into a bat-like creature, Vampirella has all of a vampire’s strengths, yet none of their traditional weaknesses.

Buffy Summers is this generation’s Chosen One, a Slayer with the sole skill and responsibility of ending the spread of evil. Just out of high school in Sunnydale, Calif., Buffy has Olympic-level martial-arts skills, a virtual arsenal of weapons (from stakes to rocket launchers!) and most importantly, a cunning mind.

THE BATTLE: In a dark, abandoned warehouse, a hungry Vampirella searches for her evil brethren. Hearing a scuffle behind her, Vampi turns to face a blonde-haired, cross-wielding teenage Buffy. Seeing no reaction in Vampi’s face, Buffy ditches the cross and tosses a flaskful of holy water at Vampi, who tries explaining she’s out hunting vampires, too. No dice. The Buffster whips out the heavy artillery—a crossbow—and just nicks Vampi’s shoulders. Trying desperately to keep her bloodlust in check, an enraged Vampirella swarms Buffy, knocking her straight through a pile of wooden crates. Racing to Buffy’s bruised and scratched-up side, Vampi arrives just in time for Buffy to deliver a swift kick to the solar plexus, followed by a fury of punches, kicks, jabs and roundhouses. Somewhat dazed, Vampi lunges for Buffy’s open neck, only to find a two-foot piece of wood jabbed through her heart. Class dismissed.

THE WINNAH…Buffy the Vampirella Slayer!"

Okay, now that I see that, I do remember seeing that picture several months ago. It still makes for interesting speculation though (along with how she keeps that costume on. Did you know that she was wearing a thong decades before Victoria's Secret sold their first one?)
