Buffy + You + Five Years = ??

Well, since I just started watching last summer I'm pretty sure I'll still be a big fan in 5 years. I've only seen most of the episodes once. I've got a lot more viewing to do and a lot more fanfics to write still.
 
hm, I've been fan since 1997... Since the first season...
I'm lost to the society, 🙂 complete fan..
Like I'm never tired of watching it.
 
I can see this going either way, considering part of my thesis is going to be on Buffy. Either I'll get so overloaded with information about the show that I'll cease to appreciate it and never want to hear another word about Buffy EVER AGAIN, or my appreciation will grow and expand and every time I watch it, I'll find more meaning and depth.

I truly hope it's the second one.

hopefully it will be the latter. I know everytime i watch an epi I find something more to enjoy (especially after visiting boards like this)
I don't know if this will happen but less than a year ago I was a hardcore Stargate fan for 10 years straight.. I still am a Huge fan and love the show to death. But not as much as I love Buffy at this very moment. I hope this won't happen to my Buffy love, but still I'm sure if I went and rewatched all 10 seasons of Sg-1 and the four of SGA than I'd be right back to a hard core fan. I'll always love the show. It justs takes the small push of watching a show again to make me fall back completely in love with it. Well I'll be hooked to Buffy for a long time atm because I plan to rewatch it again very soon 🙂 Hopefully In 5 years I'll be the same fan I am now!
 
I think the obsession will wax and wane depending on what's going on in my life at the time, but that Buffy and, indeed, all things Joss will share that special place in my brain that has remained utterly devoted to Little Women, GH in general and Stone in particular, Jane Austen, and all things Lonesome Dove for the last umpteen years. I have long wasted valuable brain space on works of fiction. Buffy claims a spot of honor along with these others.
