I was wondering, what kind of end would you most like to see on Buffy? When I put the polls up, i dont mean, the ACTUAL ending, but something like that. For example, i would want a season 3 type ending, evil is defeated, no one dies and they all just walk away.

Definitely a season 3 ending. The evil is defeated and they all live "happily ever after". That would be the best. We could have some sort of hint that Buffy will be leaving sunnydale, but she is staying for awhile with her friends: to celebrate.
The worst ending would be to be left wondering. I need closure!!! 🙂

S5 deffinatly (sp?)... when i watched S5 it hit me like a thousand knives.... i thought the show was ending forever and i cried for about 2 days!!!!!!

Well, Buffy pretty much needs to die, in my opinion.
Seeing as it is the last season, there needs to be some sort of closure. Buffy is no longer the Chosen One, the Vampire Slayer. The only other option would be for her to lose her powers in some way, but I don't think she could do that - knowing everything that is out there and not being able to do anything about it. So it's the only way.

I know it will be emotional because of the nature of this seasons ending, it is the end of it, all of it. however i do not want another big emotional thing, i love the emotional things mind you its just...i'd like to think that even though she may be somewhere else or simply not in the limelight, Buffy is still out there fighting the good fight. So the lime light will be shifted to someone else, but Buffy is still there. i think it's Joss's plan to have SMG come back for some spot appearences so...I can hope.

Don't feel too bad, I too thought that would be the last ep(Stupid WB commercials), it was so sad. And that would of been the perfect way to end the series.

Yeah, the season 5 finale was a twist. My friends and I were positive that Dawn would die, and when Buffy did, my heart like stopped beating. But I liked that ending the best.

I loved the end of the fifth season, but Joss would have to top it. I also think it would be awesome for Joss to do something really twisted like have either Buffy or a totally random character wake up in the last scene and the whole thing's really been some ****ed-up dream the whole time. Either that or they all die in some weird way, like they save the world and then get hit by a bus. I just hope Joss (being the genious that he is) does something crazy to end it, instead of trying to re-create "The Gift."
