Buffy's friends about Buffy's boys?

Xander was not a big fan of Buffy's boyfriends. He didn't liked Owen because, well he was in love with her at that time. He didn't like Angel because he always belived Buffy deserves more and he just had a problem with him, he acted like a big brother who is protecting his little sister. He never ever liked Spike because he saw the animal in him - with or without soul. But he did liked Riley, maybe because he was this normal guy. Giles did liked Angel until Angelus killed Jenny and tortured Giles. He never liked Spike, well when he had a soul he kinda tried to kill him (Wood thing), and we never see his good or bad opinion on Riley. Willow was always neutral, she did liked Angel, as she said in The Prom, when she said she hoped for the best. She liked Riley, and we never saw her had problem with Spike. But this one thing I find very intersting. Giles was mad and disappointed in Buffy when she didn't told him Angel is back from Hell, and I think Giles really didn't wanna see him, but when Angel asked him for help in Amends Giles did helped him. So as Xander. But with Spike, they always found it disgusting. Only boyfriend Buffy ever had and no one had problem with him was Riley. Thoughts?

Could it be because her job was Slayer of Vampires, and the other two guys were in fact... Vampires?
 
I think you kinda answered your own point. The two Buffy's friends had the main problems with were Angel and Spike; generally because she was the slayer, they were vampires. The rest of the Scoobies were used to slaying vampires, and suddenly Buffy dates two of 'em? I think it was more the vampire thing that Xander hated, as he became anti-all vampires even from Welcome to The Hellmouth, when Jesse was turned.
I think Giles is always just worried about Buffy, because he was like a father to her. He knew Angel could lose his soul, and Spike didn't even have a soul; and in season seven, when did, Giles knew that Buffy cared about him, too much. It was more the vampire thing, than the boyfriend thing, that got to them.
 
Xander's hatred of vampires in general (he never acknowledged the importance of the difference between 'souled' and 'not souled') was rooted in the fact that he never really got over Jesse's death. He blamed vampires for what happened to him and for good reason. Xander has never believed in that grey area use all use to defend the differences between Angelus and Angel, or soulless Spike and ensouled Spike; Xander has always thought that vampires are just always bad news in general.

He never stopped believing this. That's why Riley was the only BF of Buff's he accepted, because he was human. Also, he saw a clear parallel with her relationship with Riley and how she treated him with his one with Anya. In other words, he could relate.

Some fans stick by the idea that Xander has always been in love with Buffy from Day One, and that is the root of his hatred of almost all of her love interests - but I don't believe that.

Like you said, Riley never really posed much of a threat, which is probably why he was the most liked. In a sense, he was "good" and had always been "good."

As for the other two, not only were they vampires, but...
- Angel could turn into Angelus; no matter how much everyone loved Angel (or not,) there was still an emphasis on the fact that he had the means to turn evil. Pretty big deal, I think! Buffy had the ability to make Angel happy, and so therefore, in the back of some characters minds -- Giles, especially, who had personally experienced his torment -- it was necessary to always be aware of the possibility of Angelus' return.
- Spike was originally a "bad guy" and the Scoobies had a hard time trusting him, possibly even holding a grudge. In S7, he was so close to Buffy and it raised a lot of eyebrows as to whether this was a good or bad thing. I guess his motives could have been questioned by the gang.
 
I totally agree. I think that the bottom line is Angel and Spike can be or was evil and as long as that possibility is there the friends of Buffy probably wont get on board. However, I think if Spike or Angel became human, full time, no takebacks I could see the scooby gang being supportive but then the story would be over.
 
I think Xander started to change by S7. He showed more signs of trusting Buffy's judgement in Spike than any other Scooby, including Dawn and Anya.
