Buffy's grave, and the point of her tombstone?

Okay...I can't find any quotes just this moment, but I know Giles said that neither the normal world nor the underworld knew about Buffy's death...

I agree with N4H. Although Giles said that they must'nt know about Buffy's death, I think he was really talking about the Slayer.
And to be fair, re-watching The Gift and Bargaining, her grave is in a secluded place, surrounded by tree's...

Okay, Lee, (and forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'm going off memory here) but didn't the Scoobs run right past her grave in the middle of the graveyard in the teaser for The Bargaining pt1? Maybe I'm wrong...on that account.

But still, they were pretending that Buffy was still alive, otherwise they wouldn't have Buffybot going out and doing the things Buffy normally does(and I'm not talking slaying, I'm talking Finanical stuff and Dawn stuff)...so it would APPEAR that they are trying to pretend she didn't die...

But you do have a point...It seemed secluded...and it's not like the residents of Sunnydale haven't learned to not go walking through graveyards by that point!

that's very interesting... I would've noticed myself if they hadn't put such a funny spin on it...

"She saved the world... A lot!!!"

weren't they also trying to keep buffy's death from her father so dawn wouldn't have to move in with him, i don't remember the exact dialogue but i just remember they wouldn't let buffybot answer the phone.

I never heard anything about them keeping it a secret due to her father finding out....but I don't understand why she had a tombstone either.... *scratches head*
