I don't know why this bugs me so dang much, and I know it's trivial, but I hate Buffy's "wet" hair in Surprise. Wet hair can look so sexy, but instead it just looks tangly & yucky. I think the stylists could've done better for such a pivotal scene.

I think it looked fine. I hate it when people are 'over' styled. Like when people wake up first thing in the morning with immaculate hair and makeup. I assume the water at the docks that she was in was probably pretty grimy and dirty, so in reality her hair probably wouldn't have looked the greatest!

I actually didn't think her hair looked to bad but I don't know now I will look harder on my next watch.

I'm with Cait... I thought she looked perfectly fine for someone who ha just been tossed into the water. Her makeup was a little smudged an her hair was tangled and wet. It seemed much more believable than if she had perfect makeup and sexy beach hair.

Her hair didn't bother me. After all she has jumped into the water in a harbour, her make-up wasn't completely smudged, so I think she looked pretty good considering those things.

Of course I can see your point that she didn't look perfect, and it was her and Angel's special moment, so it might ruin it a bit for some people.

Uhm..I always thought they were messy but that's understandable since she jumped in the water, ran, rain, etc etc. Plus, I like them messy 'cause it's real and it's not perfect as they make it on tv shows ALL the time so for me it added a sense of reality, of a normal girl which later make love with her one true love. LOL

Geez does everyone have to have perfect hair all the time?
I totally 100% agree on what Hismrs said, it wouldn't look realistic if her hair was perfect. lol

I don't know why it bugs me, it just always catches my eye! Call me superficial if you'd like (go ahead, I know you're already thinking it! 😉 ).

Naw, it's ok. I can never keep a straight face during that scene in "Something Blue" when Willow's trying to have a serious conversation about how sad she is but Buffy's hair is a hot mess... The scene is supposed to be so serious, but all I can think is "My God, get that girl a comb!"

Yeah, I'm watching season 4 right now, and not sure what I think about the crimping. Sometimes I think it looks good and sometimes... um, no.

You guys, in the bedroom scene, her hair isn't wet from the dock 😛 It's from the rain. Remember she went back to the library after the dock and she had already changed and her hair was dry. Her hair got wet after because it was raining once they escaped the factory.

Anyways, I agree it looked weird. But, I didn't much like Buff's hair at all in S2, lol. Except towards the end - it redeemed itself for Becoming 😉

Well how else was her hair meant to appear like after it had been hit by so much water. Also i saw nothing wrong with it, didn't take away the sexual tension that was seen in the scene in any shape or form.
