I just have to say....if you wear transparent stuff like that, why don't you put on a nice looking bra?

Never noticed the shirt. But hey the tacky shirt went with the tacky hair (which im 99% sure was a wig). I dont know why they werent able to find a better wig that looked realistic. And SMG went along with the hair-cut so I also wonder why they didnt just have her cut her real hair to a certain length and then get it all styled, or just give her extensions.

Actually I think after the gradual weight loss since the start of BTVS her tata's had actually gotten smaller. See?

I have to say that, in my opinion, in "last year's" picture, she looks like she was the one who the hellmouth collapsed on instead of James.

I think the look woudl have been better with a colored lipstick. With just her natural lip color she looks all weird and drawn in. I do not like it all. The youger SMG is way hotter. And what is with the boobs. How did they get smaller?
I never noticed either and again I am reminded about how I so do not like Buffy as a brunette. Go Blondie Go!!!

SMG's real hair colour is Brunette and not Blonde. But I have to say, I prefer her as a Blonde - I've only ever seen her with her natural hair colour once.
She looks terrible on the later years picture... her make up and her... .yuck! It's awful. She looks way better as a teenager
 
Well it's all down to peer pressure isn't it.

Young women all over the planet - famous or not - see these size 0 models like Kate Moss and the rest and they think "I've got to be that size and look the same way to be attractive to men." Not so or at least it shouldn't be that way.

If you've got a fuller figure (as in the top picture - which to me by the way means that she's healthy, fit and well hot), people - mainly other girls - tell you you're fat - whether that's true or not is something only you can decide, but the majority of girls I know would start to try and loose weight if someone told them that.

Of course they aren't fat, it's just that pre-teen girls, teenagers and those in the early to mid 20's have all been programmed by society to think that anything over a certain size is wrong which of course we all know it isn't.

In the second picture I'd say she doesn't look that happy, it looks like she's got the weight of the world on her shoulders (possibly due to her film career not being all she'd dreamt of). And as for the intensive (I'm sure) training for the fight scenes in Buffy, her off screen relationship(s), her own pre-programmed perceptions of what she should look like and what she thinks is her best look all drove her to looking as she does in the bottom picture.

I'd never say that SMG was an anorexic, but it's a possibility as she did get so much thinner from the end of S3 onward, and I noticed and mentioned in IRC chat the other night that her arms were so thin when I was watching various episodes.
 
It was surprising how skinny she got over the seasons but I agree with Veyron. People change as they age. In her cast she apparently got super skinny 🙂 None the less I saw her spread in Maxim last year and she looked amazing so there you have it.
 
Hanna - I saw that too (several times lol) and yes, she did look totally amazing.

Photo's can be doctored though, not that I'm saying that those pic's were altered in any way, but air brushing is common place in magazines like Maxim, FHM, Loaded etc etc.

She doesn't have to be anorexic, really. As small as Sarah is, the loss of just ten pounds can make her look like she barely survived a famine. It did, however, sort of go with the character. Obviously, when Buffy first came to Sunnydale, she was still new to the Slaying routine, so she hadn't been slaying all night, studying all day, and probably missing way more meals than she ate. Seven years of that with no break would take a toll on anyone.

It's kind of funny, though, that everyone else, from Angel to Xander, actually GAINED weight over the run of the two shows. I guess they were all standing around eating doughnuts while Sarah was doing all of those fight scenes.

She definitely looks way better in the early photograph. And the awful makeup on the later shot doesn't help either. You wanna tell me someone actually got paid to make SMG look like that?
 
I really think SMG should sue whoever did her make up in this last picture. It's not her fault. I think she looks better with more... more. But personally I would prefer the smaller boobs (and I'm saying it as a big boob girl). Nothing wrong with small ones. It's hard for me to say if I liked her look better in early or later years. Because she still looks great, and that picture... well that's not fair with make up like this. She still looks good, especially when she's just walking down the street, and not at some event. Natural look rocks!
