All other relationships (Spuffy, Bangel, Bander, Fuffy, or any other) and issues (hetero, bi, gay) aside, if Satsu really brings Buffy happiness, if they really love each other, would you object to the relationship?
 
I dont want to see it happen. In fact, i find it hard to take seriously as its comic.
But i have no objections to it.

PS. i just read issues 13+14 last night.... quite impressed, good story
 
I fell 'in love' with satsu from the off, I don't know how or why but I did.

Not only would I not have an issue with the 'ship but I want it to happen.

I'd like to see Satsu come back from Japan at some point and maybe have Buffy figure out that she wants to be with Satsu.

I've been on the bad side of unrequited love myself and it sucks, well I say love, it was major lust with some emotion, lol, so i'd like to see the unrequited become requited.

Feel free to call me an old softy, although i'd prefer young softy.
 
My short answer: yes. I realize that I'm not giving this 'ship a fair chance, but in my mind Buffy and women are still unmixy things. On the other hand, I'm pretty certain that I would feel the same way if Satsu was a guy - I can only ever imagine Buffy with someone we already know from the show, as opposed to a 2D character.

I'm holding out for hopes of a Bander love twist. Maybe one day, but if not Bander then definitely Spuffy. Screw Angel, him and Buffy together are boring. I still can't see the TV Buffy ever going for girls, just doesn't seem right.
 
I'm too deep in Bangel to say I would be happy with Buffy with anyone but Angel but in saying that, I think a huge chunk of that has to do that she has never loved anyone like she loved (and still loves Angel). I don't believe anyone can outshine him in her heart but in the extreme unlikiness that someone did then I suppose I would have to learn to deal.

I want to see Buffy and Spike together... Buffy is alive, Spike turned to life in LA... Then why dont they become together again??? 🙂

I agree 100% i wouldent care if buffy dated a guy or a girl however it would be more fitting to have it be someone from the show rather than the comics.

For me i rather buffy stay single.
I Know everyone is hold out for her to fall for spike or angel but it wont happen imo.

My reason for this is that angel and spike have became so big that setting ether of them up with buffy is like haveing wonder woman date batman perminatly. joss saw this when he wanted to spin off angel. Angel had became so popular that he needed to be on his own and personal i think spike could to.

it would be a nice twist to see xander and buffy hook up but then again i would never want to see willow, buffy or xander get into a relationship with each other.

No. As much as I loved the show, I can't begin to understand the idea that nothing should ever move past those existing characters and plots. Isn't there enough shoddy writing that just recycles the same old weary scripts already? I really doubt Satsu's going to be The One for Buffy, but if that's the way it turns out, I'm good with it. Hell, it's only a two-nighter, and even if it goes nowhere else, it's already been a healthier relationship than a couple of Buffy's previous ones...
 
I don't care if it's a homosexual or heterosexual relationship, so long as it's interesting... Everything here on season 8 has been more than just "interesting" to me... I love it...

The thing is...all of Buffy's relationships have ended in great disaster and/or pain... I can only imagine how this one will end up....
 
As long as Satsu survives and Buffy treats her well, yes I'd be fine with the two of them together. I know we aren't getting Willow/Tara back so this is going to be my shipper substitute 😛

It would depend. If we were at the end of all things Buffy, the sure. Let her be happy. I would be happy with any relationship that ends with a happy Buffy.

That said, Joss hates happy relationships, so... I don't see that happening. If it wasn't set up as an end-of-an-era sort of thing, then I'd be against the relationship because the happier Buffy is, the harder the end of that relationship will be -- on me!

While I agree with Kean that Angel and Buffy should be together in the long run I think Buffy should take five seconds, and be by herself. She made the nice little cookie dough speech, but hasn't been sticking to it.

She stuck to it for over a year (and was getting pretty desperate from the looks of her dreams...)

lol true true. personaly i just dont like how buffy always in so much control in her relationship. i men except the whole being dumped by most her bf she seems to always where the paints in the relationship

True she was celibate for a year but is she any different from the girl in Chosen? She said she wanted to figure who she is , is Buffy any on closer to that a year on? There is the obvious difference with her dalliance with Satsu but that was more a sexual discovery than an emotional one. I do not see any truly significant change in who she is as a person so maybe she does need more time to figure herself out.
 
The Buffy/Satsu thing is too out of character for me to be a season spanning relationship, the fact that its a homosexual pairing doesn't bother me, just that it doesn't seem like Buffy is herself, likely its the comic presentation, its so wierd reading Buffy after watching it for so long
