Poor Buffy. She's gone through 9 apocylpses, 7 Big-Bads, 3 messy relationships, her mother died, her sister is really the key, she's seen her best friend go crazy, seen person after person she cares about die, two slayers have come and gone and she's still around, she defeated the master, stopped Angelous, changed Spike, blow up the mayor, killed Adam, beat countless vampires, demons, and weekly monsters, stood her ground to a hell goddess and the watcher's council, she's been willing to sacrifice her life more than once, she's lived longer than any slayer, met the first slayer, she's even died twice, but now this is truely the end for her.

right there with y'all in tears here! its really over, after seven long great wonderful years, its over i am going to go drink a milk shake and watch buffy now and mourn! ::crying::
 
So, I was just catching up on season 7 (missed several episodes) and if Buffy being alive is what is allowing The First to make this attempt, it seems to lead one to the conclusion that she may die at the end of this season. Just seems like it's what could be coming.
 
i'm pretty pissed at that spoiler from salon.com too. and i had a feeling that it would be hard to top this season if they did another one, but that dosent make it any easier to deal with. this truly is one of my favorite shows of all time! (and i watch a LOT of tv!)
 
its the whole big part of my life thatll be over, like how many other things last for seven years in a persons life? (im excluding family here)

plus i mean, its not like i watch it and then go, hmm that was nice lets watch the next thing
every week we come on here, and discuss everything in it, understand the themes and characters more than anything in oour own 'real' lifes and stuff
its just more than sad, it completely depressing

It sucks... It really sucks and it's truly sad, but what can you do? I think that in the future, whenever a true B/A fan sees SMG in a movie or on tv, the first thing they're gonna think of is Buffy.
 
Well, I have to say this guys, but after you read the first line of the article and found out that this was going to be the final season, it wouldn't take too much of a leap to assume that Angel and Faith would come back. Those are the two biggest loose ends in Buffy's life and if the show's ending here then they need to be addressed. It's not like they were ultra revealing spoilers. Hell, after the most recent Angel they had a teaser saying that Faith was returning to the show in three weeks when there was nothing in the series previously to lead one to that conclusion. Was that a spoiler? Man, I wrote way too much on this. Don't think the volume equates to irateness (iracity?), I'm merely too verbal.

On another note, something nobody has mentioned here is that there have been several TV shows that end, only to be reincarnated as...movies. A Buffy movie (or a second one I suppose) could be a big possibility. There are several cast and crew members that have experience with movies. Who knows, we may not have seen the last of the Scoobies (given SMG's movie carreer I find that kind of amusing) yet....
