Buffy's popularity coming back up

All this Twilight stuff makes kids now think "vampires are awesome" - i guess this could be another reason why the popularity is rising!
A few friends of mine started watching Buffy again as well 🙂

Yes, that's very true. My brother-in-law's ex actually just started watching BtVS last year because she liked "Twilight" and saw on some website that "If you like Twilight, you'll like Buffy". I explained to her that BtVS is VERY different but it's possible to love both, like I do. 🙂

Oh, I agree with you and I feel the same. I really like Twilight too 🙂
 
I really love LOGO for the work they do getting Buffy more popularity. Also, it has some interesting shows on sometimes.

And I saw a shirt for sale at the mall a few weeks back, "Buffy! Come back! You forgot to stake Edward!" I almost got it, but then didn't. I'd never actually wear it...

Did they ever get past season 1 on Much Music? It began on there last year or something if I remember correctly. So they switched it to Much More Music....that channel went into the toilet years ago with all those VH1 reality crap shows. At least now their airing something that requires a brain to enjoy. Good for them.

Few weeks ago I was in a Walmart and I see a Buffy birthday card in addition to a whole series of cards based on TV shows. Opening the card plays the title theme very loudly.

These have been out for at least two years; I got one about 2-3 years ago for my birthday! I still have it too, it's the one on the left.
I used to watch Buffy on Logo but they cut too much out for me I can't stand it, it drives me insane. I start yelling at the television lol.

But I still watch Angel on TNT in the mornings if I'm awake.

I haven't seen any Buffy shirts but I would die and totally buy it.

Me too. When I would watch Angel on my DVD's I would see where it was at on TNT.
I had always wanted Buffy on DVD but didn't get it when I was younger. Then one year asked for it for my birthday and there it started a serious obsession. 😛

I never watched it on Much Music to be honest with you, but I assume they did because it was on there for a couple months. I saw Buffy season 6 and 7 at Wal-Mart for $19.99, I plan on going to HMV or Best Buy on the weekend and see what their prices are for the whole series
 
I've seen a bunch of different shirts in Hot Topic recently. I bought a Buffy logo one not too long ago and a few weeks after I saw the Angel and Spike shirts. I've also seen the Buffy books in Walmart.

Oh! And reading a few posts above, I saw the birthday card on the left. (I got 2 of them.) On the inside it says "Time for ice cream and stake." (while playing the theme song as was said.)

That is a good deal. They do that at target for some shows they had Angel season 1 and 2 or Buffy season 1 and Angel season 1.
Best buy actually has decent prices and have sales a lot so good luck. 🙂 That is where I got Angel on sale and Buffy.
 
I used to watch Buffy on LOGO too, but then our cable bill flew sky high and we had to ditch the upper channels 🙁

Thank god for Netflix though! 😀
