Buffy's Predecessor?

hey everyone! i was just looking at the "Tales of the Slayers" you guys have got on here, and something came to my mind. i thought Buffy's predecessor was India Cohen??? well, thats what ive come to understand after reading "The book of Fours" anyway. instead its a different girl.
whether other buffy fans on here have noticed this before i dont know, and i am a newbie so i wouldnt really know what has been said or discussed on here. but with seeing that, its kinda confused me in a way lol
whether its just a mistake or not i dont know, but would like to know who was her actual predecessor.

I think that the general concensus on BB is that India is not Canon. The Book of Fours, as with most of the Buffy related books, do not fall into canon so it is open for discussion.

If you want to view India as the canon pre-Buffy slayer, fair game, but here on BB, this was discussed years ago (not having a go at you for pointing it out FYI).
