Alright... here is a question.. After Buffy slays the devil dogs that were trained to attack and kill people in "formal" wear and then Buffy goes to her prom where Angel comes to dance with her.. What is the name of that really awesome romantic song that gets played in the background.. and who sings it?

Thanks!!
XOXOXOXO

Can You People Make Me Feel Any Older??!!
Its A Cover!! The Stones Did It First!!

In fairness though she asked about that specific version😉

Not sure which one I like best to be honest. The Stones original is brilliant.

Haha I used to listen to the Stones version when I was little- my dad would play it to me. It wasn't until I got Btvs- The Album, that I realised The Sundays did a cover of it.

The Sundays version is lovely, but you can't beat an original 🙂

My favorite episode ever... and it's blasphemy, but I like the Sunday's version better than the Stones....

I like the stones version myself... I think it's strange that I don't know the majority of the music they play on Buffy, but the two songs they chose for two of the biggest break ups were songs I knew. Michelle Branch and this one...

Heeheehee. . . Mine, mine, mine. *makes off with Spike*
I have the Buffy soundtrack, and this song is the one I listen to the most! *sigh

I didn´t know that Stones did the original. But then again they´re not favourites of mine, even if they do have some great songs. Anyway, now I´ve checked it out and it´s ok (better the second time). And I guess it´s not fair to compare them with all the memories The Sundays version gives me. But for now I choose The Sundays seven times a week.

I didn't even realise it was a cover, but then again my music knowledge is pretty awful! I love the song though. I thought it was very fitting for the occassion.

This is coming from a big Stones fan but in the case of this song I'd say the versions were pretty equal in quality. The Sundays made a really nice attempt at covering a classic track and for whatever reason the lyrics seem to work better with a female voice.

very sad and bittersweet episode, with Angel leaving Sunnydale.

What Jonathan and the other students did for Buffy was really sweet.

LMA0 at Snyder being included with past M0TW.:lmao:

And it was nice of Xander to pay for Cordy's gown.

Guess Prom Night is the calm before the storm that's coming.
