Haha yeah I loved the moment! But there had been some other very funny scenes. I loved Anja in her rabbit costume. ( I recently noticed that this is the first reference about her rabbit hysteria). Or the little demon...

I thought her reaction to the sombrero was kind of cute.
BUT in contrast, when Giles is wearing his wizard's costume at the re-opening of the Magic Shop, I thought Buffy's reaction was horrible. So cold. It broke my heart a little.

I read as more of a look of resignation that one would give their embarrassing father. Like 'I'm not even going to pretend to be surprised anymore' kind of thing.

The wizard hat reaction was superior. I rarely actually laugh out loud to tv, but I had to rewatch that scene because I found it so hilarious.
Moreso because of Giles' reaction than Buffy's, that hilarious half smile on his face, then his resignation when he takes it off. Amazing.
