I'd like to see how Buffy reacts to some of the major events from Angel.

The big 3 for me would be:

1.) Spike being resurrected

2.) Darla being resurrected and having a son with Angel (CONNOR)

3.) Angel being in love with Cordy

Think we'll ever get to see how she reacts to those things? Did I miss any big ones?

If Spike was resurrected, I think she'd be wondering if he went to Hell like Angel; for a while. Then she'd sleep with him. The Spuffy way of life.

Didn't she already know about Connor..? Although, it may be weirder to come to terms with if Darla was actually there...Hey, maybe she'd even think twice about restaking her.

Well, pssh, everyone knows Buffy loves Spike so she wouldn't care I don't think she'd be too happy. She seems the jealous type; she'd probably keep reminding Angel of Cordy in high school and...Well, get angry.
 
1. She'll hug the hell outta him

2. She'd try to stake Darla again, and stay away from Angel and Connor. She won't be interested in another kid to wath out for. She already has Dawn.

3. Buffy would accept the fact that Angel moved on, and maybe kick Angel in the groin for being such a pimp! (E.g.Darla, Cordy, Nina.)
 
Am I correct in thinking that the things about Angel were originally in the script for 'Chosen' but Joss later decided against it?

I'd have quite like to have seen it! Angel's reaction to her relationship with Spike was hilarious and I think he should have been owed Buffy reacting in a similar fashion about Cordelia 🙂
 
I would have loved to see Buffy's reaction to Angel loving Cordelia. Cordelia is to Buffy what Spike was to Angel so it would have been very interesting.

I heard the same thing. I think they might have even shot it, I also heard it wasn't that Joss decided against it, but he had to cut it for time. Which makes sense since that certainly wasn't integral to Chosen...

Haha, no that would have certainly taken the episode in another direction.

It would have been odd for Angel to just turn round and go 'Oh yeah, I'm a dad, he's like 18 now, don't ask. And you know Cordelia, the girl you pretty much hated throughout high school, yeah well I loved her'

Although I'm sure Joss would have written way better than that!!
 
1.) Spike being resurrected: Initial shock that he would return and not try to at least get in contact with her. Then surprise that he is working with Angel without one or both being reduced to dust. Then pride that he has finally found a place where he can make his own way without being anyone's sidekick. Finally, anticipation for their eventual reunion.

2.) Darla being resurrected and having a son with Angel (CONNOR): Shock that Darla is back. Anger at Angel for not telling her about Connor. Determination to not let Angel's son within shouting distance of Dawn.

3.) Angel being in love with Cordy: Happiness that he had finally gotten on with his life. Relief that she wouldn't have to be on the lookout for stalkers anymore. Surprise about the "Cordy/Higher Being" situation. Sadness over Cordy's death. Amusement about Angel and Nina. (And resolve to mail him a case of flea collars)

lol, Dawn's about 10 yrs younger than Connor likes
I wrote a little funny senario for when Angel tells Buffy about Connor;

"Sex? You had sex!?! We couldn't be together because of the curse, and my so called future?

It's okay, it's okay, I guess you've done research and figured out that you can have sex without turning evil, you knew that for a fact.... No? You were depressed and didn't care? YOU COULD HAVE ENDED THE WORLD FOR ALL YOU KNEW?

Oh, he's named after your dad. That's so sweet, I've never heard you talk about your parents.

So, who's the mother?

DARLA? And you let her live, after the sex, to kill thousand of knew lives? Oh yeah, I get if you'd done that Connor wouldn't be alive, but you didn't know that did you, when you sent her out of town saying 'If you come back I'll kill you'" What kind of many-pandy-slandy is that?

Oh I let you live that time in the mall??? I was 17, had just lost my virginity and stilled loved you. You had already killed Darla once!! You're 200 years old, get over yourself!

Oh a picture! He's cute."
