Buffy's Scyth anybody else bought the real thing

i was serching the internet for buffy props just for fun when i stumbled upon ebay and someone who was selling a replica of buffys scyth same size and everything and it would cost me 300 quid i was like wow then i decided that i had to have it i know it was alot but hey who would not want to own their own slayer scyth i got it in the post 3 days ago and i have to say it is amazing i havent stoped playing with it since well worth the 300 quid does anybody else think so
 
Yeah, i seen this on the web, really pricey, so i wouldn't get it, but it is cool.

It's pretty cool, sure, but I don't see myself spending that much money for this... I know I'd come to regret it because I have no use for it. As a decoration thingy it's just weird and I think I'd get very soon tired of playing "I'm Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I'm going to Vampire-Slay youuuu.". Plus, you know, I might take it too far and stake someone. Never tempt the devil.
 
ok i've been wanting this for ages but everytime i see it on ebay i dont have the money and when it isn't on i do have the money, grrr aghhh

for now though i'm saving uo for the hallowhedon convention so it means it will prob be on ebay soon as i wont have money to spare lol

if i could though i'd buy it in a flash
 
I've been wanting to buy the Scythe for a long time but it's a wee bit pricey! :lol2:
 
ha! right now it's between that and an engagement ring for my g/f.............she wouldn't be happy if i bought a massive axe. although it would be a lot more intimidating for when future daughters bfs come over to the house. i mean can you see the look on someones face of a guy sittin on a porch swing cleaning that thing............that's what i'm talkin about.
 
I would be interested in owning it...if it had "deus ex machina" carved into the handle...

oh dear lord that would be hilarious. but yeah i'd buy one too but if people come in my house and see a giant axe just chilling there, that might make them run away.

Me and my friends are all weapon buffs. And I personally think it's absolutely amazing. It would deffinately deter someone from messing with me. lol. But with money being an issue these days, I can only wish... :\
 
I want sooooo badly.
Unfortunately even if I could afford it I'm sure I wouldn't be able to get it into the country.
A big weapon like that going through shipping, not likely :'(
