I noticed soemthing in 'sanctuary':
after Buffy finishes confronting Faith on the rooftop, watch buffy's eyes after baith says"just tell me how to make it better."right after fiath says that,a member of the watcher's council bursts through the door,and begins firing.but watch smg's eyes right before this happens.she glances towards the door before buffy could even know that somebody was going to come out.watch carefully,it's hard to catch,but it's there.
 
Well remember that this is rehursed, so she was expecting it!

Hmm i had it on vhs, but taped over it...Dang it!
 
I'm usually not a trusting person, but since I don't have this epi taped...I'm forced. Next time I watch it, though, I better see something or I'm coming after you Magui!! 😛
 
I don't know whether it is Buffys powers that let her know that its going to happen, but I would blame a dancing kangaroo in the background that noone can see distracting her. 😀 Good spot though, and she does.
 
I never noticed that. I'll have to watch for it.

There's another slipup, something like what you described in the Buffy S7 episode Him - or at least I think there is. I'm not sure, because I stopped taping 15 minutes in, and I changed the channel shortly after this particular screwup. I could be remembering it wrong.

The way I remember it though, it has something to do with a railway crossing, and it's something like a train is coming from the left, and they're all looking to the right.

I could be wrong about this, because I've never heard anyone else mention it. It's possible though, that there are so many things not making sense in Him, all the discerning viewers had changed the channel by the time it happened. I know Him is the only Buffy or Angel episode I ever changed the channel on.

Good spot, but It definetely wouldn't be the first time that a character has reacted to a hidden enemy without any notice. Think Giles in season 5 finding one of Glories minions listening in at the magic shop. As for this particular incident, it could be something as simple as hearing a sound and just glancing in the direction, or even just thinking...hey...that's a nice looking door...oops...someone's bursting through it.
 
Gonna hafta go with the supernatural power side of this story, Buffy has always sensed things and she can really tell alot by her environment.

Plus if the stairway or that door was the only way to the rooftop, wouldn't she expect someone to come up?
