Buffyverse casted with different actors

Alright, it's been awhile since I've seen a thread like this and I figured it's time to start a new one. Basically, what actors besides the ones in the Buffyverse could you see play the roles of our favorite characters:

Buffy- Kirsten Dunst (I don't know, I just think she would do a really good job in the role.)
Giles- David Bowie ( Rupert is pretty much like an aging rockstar, why not have an aging rock star play him. Plus, the Labryth was awesome.)
Willow- Mandy Moore
Xander- Jamie Kennedy
Dawn- Lindsey Lohan
Anya- Christina Applegate
Faith- Tyra Banks (I don't know, I just think a black Faith would be cool)
Warren- David Faustino (Bud from Married With Children)
Andrew- Clay Aiken (Don't like the guys music, actually don't like the guy what so ever, but it seems to fit)
Ethan Raine- two choices A) Mick Jagger B) Simon from American Idol (I could just picture him critiqueing everything Buffy does when he makes his yearly appearance.)
The Master- Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger)
Angel/ Angelus- Johnny Depp ( I don't think anyone will argue this one with me, well, cept for maybe Ana 8)
Spike- Eminem ( This might be a stretch, but make Spike not english and replace hip hop with the punk look and I think the character would still work the same.)
Drusilla- Wynona Ryder
Darla- Gwen Stephanie from No Doubt
The Mayor- William Shatner
ADAM- Kane from The WWE
Glory- Charlize Theron
Gunn- Dave Chapelle (He's Rick James, B**ch)
Wesley- Again, Simon from American Idol
Lorne- Conan O Brien
Fred- ????? I'm stumped
Cordelia- Lucy Liu
Lilah- Tina Faye
Jasmine- Oprah
 
I wouldn't really change anyone...But Michael Wesley Smith who plays Jack in The Tribe, would be great playing Xander I think. At least in the first few seasons...Other then that I can't think of any...

Dawn - Nikki Reed

Giles - Ian MacKellan

Xander - Matthew Perry

Anya - Christina Applegate or Lisa Kudrow

Spike - Collin Farrel

Angel - Viggo Mortensen

Jasmine - Jessica Alba

and I like the Conan for Lorne idea.

Well she did play God in Dogma, so that qualifies her to play Illyria. 😉
 
Wow, that does sort of work. I can Alanis playing either role.

I'd like to switch one of my choices around. I was thinking Cory Feldman would be a really good Warren, he would totally have the whole womanizer quality down and David Faustino would be a better Jonothan. Just my entirely random thoughts.
 
I just had a crazy idea, and it won't mean anything to most of you, but how about casting Buffy with dead actors. Watch.

Giles - Spencer Tracy
Ethan Rayne - WC Fields
Joyce - Katherine Hepburn
Cordelia - Vivian Leigh
Anya - Judy Holiday

You know what else would be fun? Casting the stage play of Once More With Feeling with rock stars.
 
It'd be a little hard picturing BtVS without the current cast...
