I was just thinking how Buffyverse characters would fare against characters from the Lord of the Rings. This could work with pretty much any show or movie of the action genra, I suppose, but LotR is my second passion, next to Angel and Buffy. If anyone is interested in a LotR forum site, I would like to suggest Minas Tirith Forums. It is a friendly community, and I've belonged to it for a year next Monday.
 
aragorn would win cause hes soooo hot and cool and he can fight a lot of monsters and stuff which makes him really tough
 
I totally dig Aragon! He is my fav from LOTHR, however Angel is a vamp and he, IMO, reings supreme!
 
Yeah, I go with Angel. Aragorn is awsome, but Angel is just a tiny bit better. I was going to post several more questions, but I couldn't figure out how! Can you only post one question per pole here?
 
Aragorn is a really good fighter but Angel has that super human strength going for him, so i think he might win it in the end.
 
Angel will win, just because he comes from an age where they have guns and such, he can just shoot the guy. And even if they'd just do normal style, he's a vamp, with superhuman strenght, so no chance for Aragorn.
 
Aragorn is sooo cool - i'm sorry, Angel 'shippers but he is! He's a bone fide hero, destined to live a life of kingliness that he doesn't really want cos he thinks he's gonna screw up. And at least he gets the lady in the end!

Me and my mate caz are always disputing between Aragorn and Legolas, And then Angel and Spike. She loves Legolas and Angel, and I love the other 2. It's very funny reading all our text messages!
 
Aragorn is cool and can work a sword like no tomorrow. But have to say that I think Angel would win. He has the power and the vamp thing going for him.

Xander-Lover: Legolas fan here and think that he would beat Aragorn! 😀
 
It would be really close. And while I like Aragorn better than Angel, I still think Angel would probably win.
 
Sorry, as much as I would like to agree with most of you I have to say that in a hand to hand combat that Aragorn would take Angel out.
 
I think it would be super close. I mean, Strider takes on like five Wraiths fighting with only two flaming sticks in the book at Amon-Sul. Plus all those Orcs and Uruk-hai that he kills, and they have what would appear to humans as super-natureal strength. I think that perhaps, though I love Angel more, Aragorn *might* win. I'd say it's about fifty-fifty.


BTW, IS there a way to post more than one question in a poll here?
 
OMG OMG how can you do this!!!!!!! youve pitted my two most fave things against each oher. but i still so think that Aragorn would win!! i dont really know why i think that. i think that its because Aragorn can take on all of these orcs and is... a well king and Angel may be a champion but he is no King. I dont actually know why but i just think that Aragorn would win. also Angel has the vampire weakness like the sunlight one and Aragorn doesnt really have those kinda weakness. Plus ARAGORN IS SOOOOOO COOL ultraley cool! and like my fave LOTR character.
