Hello Everyone,

I thought it would be nice to create a thread dedicated to Buffyverse themed Ebay auctions. Here you can discuss items you've won in the past, Items you are currently bidding on, Maybe some items you may not be able to afford but would like to share with others etc..

I will go first. That way you can all see where I am going with this!

Within the past week I have bought the following items on ebay.

I bought the first draft of Aftermath (the comic) and three issues signed by Kelley Armstrong (Aftermath's writer) off a charity Firefly auction thing. 106USD

I still haven't got the final invoice yet, even tough I should have paid within three days, so I'm getting worried. But it's will probably be fine.

Cool thread.

As some of you already know, I collect specifically Buffy/Angel promotional memorabilia. This includes posters, adverts, flyers, clippings, and anything used to promote the shows.

I own...alot. Um, a few of my favorites in my collection include a German promotional poster for the original film, a signed 8'10'' of Spike from "Conviction" signed by JM, a HUGE poster for the series premiere of Angel, another HUGE poster for the VHS release of the first Season of Buffy at Blockbuster Video, and a magazine advert from Australia for the Buff RPG video game.

I have been looking for an ORIGINAL (not a reprint) of the poster used to promote the musical episode for quite some time.

I have some promo trading cards that were given out at conventions to promote the card sets, signed by Eliza Dushku, SMG, HM, DB, and Amy Acker.

I also have some photo's I got signed by Jewel Staite and Tahmoh Penikett at a convention.
 
Today on ebay I bought the following:

So in total including my Women Of Sunnydale "Fashion Emergency" card puzzle, and my 12" Human Spike doll I am going to be receiving 7 packages in the mail. Haha. Merry christmas to me!

Hehe, you probably don't want to know what I paid for for original comic art (the pages that come straight from the person who draws the comics, before they get inked and colored).

I've been looking for that, even a reprint really. Although I have the UPN style poster, for (I think) season 6, although it could be season 7 too. It could be a reprint, but feels pretty sturdy and looks crystal clear. In fact, I've seen a copy of the poster in the DVD extras--you know how they'll interview Joss or someone, and in the background they have something related to Buffy. That's possibly my favorite eBay item, and I still, after having it for around a year, need to get it framed..

Other past items I've won on eBay:
-4 of the 1st MAC series (Buffy, Angel, Willow, Master) figures; I still want Cordelia, Xander, and Giles, at the very least.
-Illyria figure (in her "Illyria" armor); which I got cheap because the box is fairly worn
-Caught up on season 8 (by the time I started watching Buffy, season 8 was about 12 issues in?) by winning 2 auctions (for issues 1-7, and another for 7-12)
-Buffy keychain, just a little pewter thing with the Buffy logo
-About... oh, 4 or 5 T-Shirts
-Buffy board game, which was already opened so I've played it quite a few times (all pieces intact)
-Buffy XBOX game, and PS2 game (I want to get the Gamecube version because I think I could play it on my Wii; I can't play the XBOX or PS2 because my brother won't let me use his PS3, and my XBOX broke)
-Some Buffy novels, I have about 30, although 10 I got at Good Will. Also the Watcher's Guides 1 & 2 (I got 3 from Amazon).
-The original Buffy double sided movie poster. It's pretty cool... never had a DS poster before.

One of my (most frequented) saved eBay searches is for "buffy the vampire slayer", and I check it every time I go on eBay, which is at least 4 or 5 times a week.
 
Spike (Vamp face) Sideshow collectable 12inch figure, which box and all other items-pretty much prefect condition, although his face was a real let down 🙁. But I now have Vamp Spike and Dru so they kind of go together.

There the only things I really wanted especially the Dru figure, I'm tempted ot get the Spike normal face figure because I don't really like Spike's vamp face but I haven't seen it on auction yet so haven't had chance to get it.

You should check ebay regulary, I think I see them pop up for affordable prices on ebay from time to time. Mostly they cost over 80 bucks tough.

I really hope this doesn't count as spam, but I want to inform you that I have several tradings cards for sale, among them autos. Just FYI.
I've ordered a lot of Buffy merchandise on ebay, but the best thing I ever got was definitely the original script of Lovers Walk signed by SMG, Alyson Hannigan, Nick Brendon, Anthony Head, Seth Green and David Boreanaz. I refuse to let anyone touch it, it's pretty much my pride and joy.

and just recently this week, the End of Days Buffy Maquette by Electric Tiki.

I'm just missing the Ubervamp bust to complete my collection of demon busts. I find them wonderful and so much better than most busts based on main characters, everytime i see a bust based on buffy or faith or something, i think the likeness is terrible. I won't buy one until i find one that looks decent. But the demons have such rich detail, and look amazing.

Oah waow an Angel board game too? I never knew.
Ah!! I just won a Lorne Sideshow figure for only $26! I’m so happy 😀

I also got my set of DVDs from there a couple years ago and I’ve bought a few Angel books, but other than that I tend to buy stuff: new, at garage sales, or at RL auctions.

I have the City of Angel. They do really well with the Angels. In comparison to some other characters.
