Remember when Connor put his fist through Jasmines face, and when Giles killed Ben, and seeing as Glory was Ben, he must also kill Glory. Im sure Glory was a god, and i thought(although not sure) Jasmine was a god too.
Can gods die in Buffy and Angel? I always thought they couldnt. And also isnt Illyria a god? And she couldve been destroyed if Wes hadnt took her power away!

Jasmine was a power that was, not a god. Glory was killed because she shared her body with a human that got killed, and Illyria was a god to a god and she would have been fine if she was in her own body.

You can't kill a Power, but a Power is only a Power when on it's own plane. When it descends to the Earthly dimension, it suffers mortality and other such human limitations. Glory felt emotion and pain, and Illyria's power was greatly reduced even before she got zapped by Wes and his silly ray-gun. Jasmine was the only one who didn't seem to be affected in that way, probably due to her special birth. But she was born into a human body, similarly to both Glory and Illyria, and was therefore mortal.

Oh yeah, Illyrias not a god, just a demon, an old one. still very powerful though

I don't think that they ever said specifically that hell gods like Glory and Illyria were actual deities, incapable of being killed. "God" might just mean that they were the most powerful being in their own dimension, therefore the supreme being. Even ruling that out, having gods who can be killed isn't all that unusual. The Norse god Baldar was murdered by Loki, and according to their mythology, Odin, Thor, and several other Asgardians were supposed to die in their final great apocalyptic battle, the Ragnarok.

Then, y'know, the whole Jesus thing. I'd have thought that would have been the obvious one with Jasmine!

Gods can be killed. Everything has a weakness, even them. Greek Gods at hines blood (im hoping it wasnt just used for hercules....)

I always thought of Glorys 'essence' is still in existance, like the way Illyria was trapped in a box, except Glorys just floating around somewhere.
