Do you think any of the murders committed by the good guys were moraly wrong and annoyed you? To me, only Knoxs murder was wrong, even though i didn't like him, Wes of all people too! Of all them i feel most sorry for Drogyn but feel Angel was in a position he had to. All the others were fair play i think.

Well, I understand why Angel did it, but I'd still say Drogyn's murder was much worse than Knox's. Knox basically deserved to die, even if that doesn't justify Wes killing him. I'd also say that killing Lindsey was probably wrong too. He wasn't a good guy by any measure, but he was helping them. He had potential to be better than he was, and I think killing him was a serious violation of Angel's philosophy on helping people who needed it.

Totally agree.

Lindsey wasn't even given an opportunity to fight back. It was unfair.
The 2 that stand out to me are Warren and Swat guy(conviction) because they had legit reasons to go to jail for murder, and Willow and Angel had the power to hand them over to the cops, but they chose to kill. After all their 'we dont kill humans' talk. Whereas, they could hardly take the prof to cops and say 'um, this guy sent my friend to another dimension, arrest him' so he had to go.

I hate how Faith was made the bad seed of the Buffy-Verse, for an accidental murder, that leads her to a dark path. She went to prison, helped save the world, and still she always seems to be treated like the villain. Willow, Andrew, Gunn and Angel commit murders, not by accident, but because they chose to, and they can walk around free. Such crap.

I think I have to go for Lindsey. Obviously, lol.

For once, he was actually innocent. He was fighting on the right side, helping Angel, being the good guy for once. And Angel still wanted him dead because of something he might do. There's still no proof that whatever Lorne sees automatically comes true, it's like everything, every choice we make chances our future. Who knows what choicing to help Angel did to Lindsey's future? And for Angel to ask Lorne to be the one to actually kill Angel was low.

I always imagined Angel and Lindsey having this massive, epic fight to the death, the best guy left standing. I wouldn't have exactly been upset if that guy had been Lindsey, lol.

*Kicks you* You want Angel dead? ::YIM arms folded unimpressed smiley::
I basically agree with you atticus, but the murder Gunn committed wasn't so bad, in my opinion. The guy certainly had it coming, there was no legal way to go after him, and Gunn only did it to spare placing the burden on Fred.

I voted only Angel - Drogyn even I'm wondering why Gunn had to snap that professor's neck before pushing him in the dimension hole.

Drogyn helped him and came all the way to L.A. just to be killed unexpectly? NO!!! This is why I think 'Angelus' is always in Angel indeed.

Drogyn is actually one I would not give blame. There was no way out for him at that point, his fate was sealed. Was it Angelus or someone else was just the question.

For me worst offenders were Wes and Willow. I can't vote for Lindsey as Lorne is not the one i would held more responsible over that. Another very close and border case is Gunn.

Lorne was in on the plan anyway, he also wanted Lindsey dead. I mean, he would have totally refused to kill an innocent.
I think Gunn decided to break the professors neck because to close the portal someone had to enter, and Gunn thought it would be more humane to just kill him than to send him to a life time of torture in a bad dimension. If it was up to Gunn it would never have got that far in the first place, Fred put him in that position!

I always thought that Lindsey being murdered when and how he was added a little to the shock factor of the final episode, but from a strategic sence it was pure stupidity on Angel's part. He was going out to literally face all of the hoards of hell with an army that consisted of, at the most consisted of himself and 5 other fighters, and he decides to kill a perfectly capable fighter only moments before the battle begins. Even if Angel didn't trust him, which he obviously didn't, there would have been ample time after the battle, assuming that they somehow survived, to kill him then, after his usefulness was over.

Thing about Angel is, in NFA in genuinely didn't think they would win anyway, didn't think they'd survive. I can't imagine Angel thought Lindsey would be of much use whichever way we look at it.
I love Faith but... All the other people that killed either had to or had a very good reason to. Faith on the other hand killed for evil deeds. Finch was an accident, the other(s) were not. Plus she chose to betray and go directly against the scoobies. So can anyone really blame the scoobs for viewing her different and had double standards?

If my friend done what Lorne or Willow done, i wouldn't care. Id forgive them, if that was even required. If my friend done what Faith done, id have a much harder time forgiving her. Thats why she not on the list, she was a bad guy, when she killed and more importantly, betrayed.

I agree with the whole Faith deal.
I don't know enough about the Angel one's to make an informed decision regarding them but out of the Buffy ones, even though Warren killed Tara, Willow killing Warren (especially in the way that she did) is to me, still morally wrong. For me, two wrongs don't make a right. Murder is murder. It is in my book anyway 😛

The only murder I can think of that I disagree with is when Angel kills the demon slave in Not Fade Away, because I'm not sure if the demon was evil or not.

I like to think that Angel knew a lot about that demon race and knew the demon slave was likely to be evil and therefore thought it was fair to kill it, slave or no slave, but I have a feeling that by the end of season 5, Angel was ready to kill potential innocents for "the mission".

Otherwise, I can't come up with any bad murders. Hell, I think they should have killed more bad humans.

Demon slave?? You mean Drogyn? He's human!

You mean the creepy feller who drank his slave's blood? He was part of the circle of the black thorn, an evil secret organization. The slave tried to escape in an earlier episode so i felt bad for him.

The Pee-Pee demon, right? Well, Angel doesn't say he dies, only that he makes his blood poisonous for Archduke Sebassis
No BillyIdolWannaB, I meant the demon slave in Not Fade Away. Sebassis slave, that Angel posioned so Sebassis would drink from him and die?

Looking at the results, it seems that Willow killing Warren is pretty high up there. But why? Warren was a murderer, he killed Katrina and Tara, tried to kill Buffy, and was a horrible person.

Although, I will say that maybe Willow crossed a line with all of the cruelty in killing him.

I am glad that Wes killed Knox that way. I was attached to Fred enough that I wanted to do it myself.

The only one that I thought was wrong was Angel killing Drogyn. I understand why he did it, but still, Drogyn was a force for good and he was betrayed and murdered by someone he thought was a friend.

I'm having a hard time remembering the circumstances behind Drogyn's death... and who was the swat guy?

Warren had it coming, Knox had it coming, Ben, well that just needed to be done, and the Professor certainly had it coming. None of them can be justified as morally correct but you can't exactly blame them either.

Lorne killing Lindsey per Angel's orders on the other hand ROYALLY pisses me off to this day. It wasn't necessary. Angel is the poster boy for everyone around him giving him second and third and fourth chances, but he couldn't find it in him to do the same for Lindsey? Yeah Lindsey did alot of bad, but at that point he was helping by his own will, IMO he showed alot of promise and it genuinely seemed to me like he was ready to change. He wasn't a threat... it was pure vendetta and revenge and I will forever look down on Angel for that, especially since he didn't even have the cajones to do the job himself.

i have a problem with murder ever being "moral," but i can certainly understand all the reasons behind these murders. warren's murder i certainly don't have a problem with--the only ones that bother me are ben's murder, lindsey's murder, and dorgyn's murder. i know ben's had to be done because of glory, but maybe there could have been another way. i felt sorry for ben--he was a lot like dawn in that he had been created for something and had no control over it. i didn't think angel was justified having lindsey killed and i also don't think he was justified killing drogyn. oh, and knox's murder is a little sketchy--it really was his fault that fred got infected by illyria and wes was in so much pain--i completely understand it, but it's the eye for an eye mentality that can be tricky.

I honestly don't know why everyone is making Willow out to be more evil than Angel. BOTH of them were under some kind of "spell", and Angel killed FAR more people than Willow would even think of. She only killed Warren (SPOILERS, who isn't even dead anyway) and only because he killed her girlfriend and tried to kill her best friend. What would you do in that situation?
