Pieceworks are part of the Buffy and Angel trading card series.

Each card features a piece of an actual costume worn on-screen during Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Angel.

I was wondering if anybody could confirm that these are actual costumes worn by the actors?

I really hope so as I just bought:
  • A piece of Spike's leather coat from Angel season 5.
  • A piece of Buffy's leather coat in the Buffy season 5 episode "Shadow".
  • A piece of Angels shirt in the Angel season 5 episode "Harms Way".

I would be very grateful if you could provide me with an answer to this question.

Also I know I am quite stupid for buying these before I knew if they were actual costume peices but I am a very impulsive person.

Inkworks was a big company at the time and it probably would have been noticed if they were fake but I just want to make sure.
 
I agree, it was a big company, and if it was fake, I think FOX would have said something. I think it says on the site inkworks.com that they bought them directly from FOX.

I think there's also a 10th anniversary piecework with a piece of a stake (which are ridicoulously priced on ebay).
 
Thanks for helping me to convince myself that they must be real...
A piece of a stake would be cool, however I am on a tight budget lately and have less and less money to spend on the things I want. It took me a while to manage to raise enough money for the other pieceworks.
The pieceworks haven't been delivered yet either and I will probably buy some sort of frame to hang them on my big Buffyverse wall in my room.
I also have to buy Buffy S8 and Angel ATF and also any video game that looks decent enough for a purchase.
 
I have a ton of pieceworks, from my overspending on Ebay, lol! They are authentic and official, they are awesome 🙂
 
Awesome idea! I don't have a scanner but I could take pics with a digital camera and upload them. I have an ungodly amount of buffy merchandise, and I am beyond serious,lol. I might have a shopping problem! lol
